The trip with Olaf through South Africa was one of the best trips I have ever made. I think very few people get to experience South Africa the way we did with Olaf. Deserted beaches, remote pass roads, hiking tours with local guides (organized by Olaf), cliff jumping in almost secret places, experiencing dolphins up close, paragliding, breakfast in the elephant park after watching the wild animals and evening barbecues where you can talk about everything. In short, simply the perfect trip with one of the best guides!!!!

I went on a 3-week trip to Thailand with Timo and some tripmates via JoinMyTrip - a mix of city trip, island hopping and a wonderful finale in northern Thailand - and it was really great! It was my first backpacking trip and my first trip via JoinMyTrip, so I was a bit apprehensive at first. Especially because I was supposed to be the only woman in the group for the second part of the trip. But that turned out to be completely unfounded: the group was super friendly, fun and relaxed, and I felt totally at ease right from the start.

It was my first backpacking trip in Asia and first trip ever on JoinMyTrip and little did I know, that I'm gonna have amaying 3 weeks in Thailand. Perfect mixture of city exploring, islands hopping and chilling in the northern parts of the country. Everything was well organised and prepared, from accomodation which btw was very nice and cozy, to the transport and all activities. There was no pressure at all, everything was done in enjoyable pace. Timo is great and funny guy, he knows Thailand pretty well and did his best to make us have a great time. The group was amazing, very kind and funny people. Looking forward for new trips and adventures together!
Maryanne is a very kind and nice person. It was really fun to do with her the trip, she is more like a friend than a tour guide. We had much fun and saw a lot, she took care of us when its needed.
