I look back on the trip with Timo as the group leader (along with Katrin and Sara) with such a wonderful feeling; it was something very special to me, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Had the best weekend on a 3-day trip with Windy! She’s super organised, kind, and clearly loves hiking. We swam in a glacier lake, hiked to amazing viewpoints, found hidden waterfalls, explored a cute town, tried local Italian food, and even went paddleboarding. The group was lovely and the itinerary was spot on. So grateful for the experiencewould definitely join another trip with her!

Ivana was an awesome host. She is very friendly, welcoming and open minded. From the moment you meet her, it immediately feels like travelling with a friend :). She introduced us to her country and culture, took us to touristic and locale places alike. She showed us some hidden gems and breathtaking places. I would definitely travel with Ivana again
Such an amazing experience! Full of beautiful landscapes, lovely people and lots of activities for us to fully enjoy our time. I got to try a lot of things i hadn't tried before, and had the luck to see some auroras on the way 🩵 Chris and Vlad were super helpful during the whole process, and super nice to hang out with. Sharing the week with different people also was a great way to get to know different cultures and share experiences. 10/10 would go again!

Rather than a 'strict' tour guide, our hosts are experienced travelers who want to find friends to travel with or local hosts who want to show you around their home. Group travel in JoinMyTrip consists of only 3-12 people per trip. In some scenarios, the TripLeader can invite less than 4 travelers in their group. The small-sized group allows you to know your travel buddies better, quit the hassle, and become more flexible.
A typical guided tour can mean 20-40+ people following one guide on a fixed schedule. JoinMyTrip trips are capped at 4-8 people, with more flexibility built into each itinerary and more opportunity to actually get to know your group.
Most of the group travel adventures include shared rooms, in which you will be sharing a room with one person. However, all room assignation vary based on the price, accommodation type, and duration of the trip. Please contact your TripLeader if you wish to stay in a separate room, they will be happy to help!
We don't include flights in the group travel. This way, you have the flexibility in choosing the transportation option from your home to the destination. Feel free to choose a flight, boat, or land transportation that fit your budget, preferences, and comfort.
You can only meet your group face-to-face as you arrive in the destination. However, you can connect with them online as the TripLeader will invite you to a WhatsApp group 7-10 days before the trip. So, you have the opportunity to know your travel buddies in the group travel better!
