Trip Itinerary
1
Paris
Day 1-8
We will stay in an apartment close to/in the city center so we can explore the City of Love & Romance in our lunch breaks and after work. Once in a lifetime feeling like a real Parisien living the trés chique lifestyle. Rooms are shared. The stops listed below are not actually stops - they are optional activities and sights we can visit.
2
Eiffel Tower
Day 8
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Locally nicknamed "La dame de fer" (French for "Iron Lady"), it was constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the centerpiece of the 1889 World's Fair and was initially criticized by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world.
3
Louvre Museum
Day 8
There are plenty of good reasons to visit the Louvre! So many works of art to discover in this fabulous museum that used to be a palace! To visit the Louvre, we have to book a time slot in advance.
4
Montparnasse
Day 8
The Montparnasse, a 210 m office skyscraper, offers the amazing opportunity to overlook the whole city of Paris - including the Eiffel Tour! Most people ascend the Eiffel Tour, but then the most important monument, the tower itself, is missing in the view. The view certainly is breathtaking.
5
Montmartre
Day 8
With its cobbled streets, stunning Basilica, artists, bistros ... Montmartre is full of charm! Perched on the top of a small hill in the 18th arrondissement, the most famous Parisian district has lost none of its village atmosphere that appealed so much to the artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. A real melting pot of art and inspiration for the cinema, Montmartre still gives as much pleasure to those who stroll around it and figures high on the list for a stay in Paris.
6
Paris
Day 8
What else to do? - Experience sunrise at Trocadero: sunrise with an Eiffel Tower backdrop? Yes, please! - Go to the historic Moulin Rouge for a cabaret show - Window shop (or actually shop) on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées - Go to Ladurée to taste macarons - See the insane traffic around the Arc de Triomphe
