Let's switch things up; this upcoming weekend trip promises to be fantastic. Picture yourself enjoying some well-deserved treats while relaxing on the beach, engaging in captivating Swahili storytelling, and, of course, savoring delicious local dishes like "chapati," "samosa," and "mihogo." You absolutely must experience it for yourself!

About me: I am Baraka, a young Tanzanian diplomat who is passionate about traveling, storytelling, volunteering, live music, and teaching the Swahili language. I am also a member of the Lions Club, District 411B, in Dar es Salaam Pwani.

Accommodation: You will be hosted in an amazing Airbnb apartment with shared space alongside the beach. Shared bedrooms are available for everyone, and exceptions are welcomed. We will enjoy cooking, swimming, dining, and music in a quality space. It's a gateway for amazing people who love to work and savor a lifetime of experiences. Day 1
Day one I will be receiving my TripMates from the airport. Head to the apartments where we will rest for a bit. Then later head for a walk or a drive around the city as we get to know each other. We can later go have some drinks if we aren't tired from the journey.

Day 1
Day one We will visit the village museum, see the culture from different tribes of Tanzania. Later, own head to the tingatinga community, famous for their unique painting style and sculpture making. and later visit the national museum where we will be able to explore the different discoveries and archaeological findings.

Day 1-2
Day 2: Mbudya Island Situated in the north of Tanzania's major city (Dar es Salaam). This breathtaking island in the Indian Ocean is the best place to be, especially during the weekend. The island has nice relaxing white beaches and clear waters, thus we will go swimming, trekking, tanning, and snorkeling.

Day 2
We will spend our last day in the apartment, preparing each trip mate for departure the next day. We can go for a drive around the city. Try out different Swahili foods for the last time. Go for shopping and an evening walk and later share drinks. if anyone has an activity they plan to do the last day before we go back home, they can reach out.
