Winter Hiking, Dog Sledding, Italian Alps & Lots of Fun! ❄️

Take a cable car to Monte Lussari: A cute little village on top of the mountain at a peak overlooking the land where the Carnic and Julian Alps come together, from a position of privilege that positions it as the guardian of these borderlands. Here we will do a short easy hike while discovering the village. Level: Easy, no gear needed but proper waterproof hiking shoes are a must!

On the second day, we will hike in Sappada, the Beautiful chain of Alps Mountain. The village of Sappada is a pure mountain resort, on the northern slopes of the Dolomites, which still retains its ancient traditions: from the characteristic wooden houses to the Sappadino dialect which has remained unchanged for centuries. Level: Easy, no gear needed but proper waterproof hiking shoes are a must!

Next day. Dog sledding: we will get initial theoretical driving lesson + the preparation of a sled with adequate number of Dogs + driving a sled by yourself assisted in a distance by our Staff in the school ring for beginners + photo, cuddles, biscuits to the Dogs after arrival. After dog sledding we will do an easy hike in Val Saisera (Saisera Valley), this path offers over 15 km of snow-covered trails, clearly marked and well trodden amongst the woods and the clearings, that you may experience on foot, They are easy paths with no steep slopes. Level: Easy, no gear needed but proper waterproof hiking shoes are a must!
