Immerse in the Romanian Experience
Dracula Castle
Trip in the mountains
Details about this trip
My country is home to breathtaking views of the Carpathian Mountains and fascinating legends about vampires and Dracula. 🧛🏻‍♂️ On this trip, we'll explore Sinaia, one of Romania's most elegant mountain towns, famous for its royal heritage, as well as Brașov City, close to Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle). We will visit Peleș Castle, the stunning summer residence of Romania's first king, Carol I, as well as the historic Sinaia Casino (if the time allows on Sunday), where the European aristocracy once gathered to socialize and gamble their fortunes. On Saturday, we'll head to Bran Castle 🏰, famously associated with the Dracula legend, before exploring the charming medieval old town of Brașov, one of Romania's most beautiful cities. Along the way, we'll enjoy breaks and taste delicious traditional Romanian food at renowned local restaurants. We will travel independently rather than joining an organized tour. We'll use trains and buses, giving us more flexibility and a more authentic travel experience. Included in the price: ✔️ Accommodation (private rooms with private bathrooms) ✔️ Transportation from Bucharest to Sinaia, Brașov, and Bran Castle, and back to Bucharest ✔️ Entrance tickets to Peleș Castle, Bran Castle, and the Sinaia Casino Not included: ✖️ Food and drinks ✖️ Flights ✖️ Optional personal expenses and other activities Our meeting point will be Gara de Nord, and from there we'll start our journey to Sinaia together. From Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, you can take a direct train to Gara de Nord (Bucharest's main railway station) in about 20–25 minutes (about 2 euros/train ticket). If my schedule allows, I'll be happy to meet you at the airport directly. I'm always open to suggestions, as long as the whole group agrees. 😊 I'm really excited to meet you, share my culture, and show you some of my favorite places in Romania.🤩

About me: I’m 29 years old and currently figuring out life while traveling and exchanging perspectives with people from around the world. I’ve been living in Bucharest for the past 10 years, where I completed my degree in Cultural Studies. I'm passionate about photography, culture, history, and anything related to art. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and discovering places through both local traditions and meaningful conversations.

During our trip, we'll stay in a comfortable private villa with double rooms and private bathrooms, located close to the center of Sinaia. Staying close to the town center gives us easy access to restaurants, cafés, and local attractions while still enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings. If you have any questions about the trip, feel free to ask in the Q&A section. I'll be happy to help! 😊

Day 1
We will meet at Bucharest's main railway station, which is about 20–30 minutes from the airport. From there, we'll take a train to our accommodation in Sinaia, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours. If everyone's flights arrive at very different times, I'll meet those who arrive first and we'll wait at a nearby café or restaurant, or take a short walk around the area until the rest of the group joins us.

We will spend around two hours exploring the castle and its surroundings before returning to Brașov.

Day 4
We will return to Sinaia in the evening, leaving us some time to relax and enjoy a drink either at our accommodation or somewhere in the city. There are some lovely places where we can taste authentic Romanian wines and soak in the atmosphere.🍷🎶 Alternatively, you can simply take some time to rest, unwind, and prepare for your departure the following day.

Bucharest

Day 4
On Sunday, we can enjoy a coffee together at Sinaia’s historic railway station while waiting for your train to Bucharest. The journey from Sinaia to Bucharest takes about 1.5 hours, plus approximately another 30 minutes from Bucharest’s main railway station to the airport. Therefore, I recommend leaving Sinaia about 4-5 hours before your flight departure time. There are trains running from Sinaia to Bucharest approximately every half hour, and I will help you purchase the tickets (which are already included in the trip fee), so there is no need to worry about that. Of course, if your flight is later in the evening, we can spend the day together exploring Sinaia. I am available all day on Sunday and would be happy to continue the adventure with you.😁
