Let's explore Sofia and Rila Lakes together! We will wander through the charming streets of Sofia and do some sightseeing. Let's try some delicious local dishes and get to know the Bulgarian culture by joining a traditional dress and dance experience together. It will be a lot of fun for sure! Beyond the city, the surrounding nature offers incredible opportunities for exploration. We will go on a day trip to UNESCO Heritage Site Rila Monastery and also visit the famous Rila Lakes.

Day 1-2
We will meet at our accommodation, in the afternoon. This day is only planned for arrival, but we will have our first group dinner and drinks together in the evening to get to know each other. If you arrive early, you can plan some extra activities.

Rila Monastery

Day 2-3
We will do a day trip to the Rila Monastery and its breathtaking surroundings! We will explore the ancient walls of Rila Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we continue to the Rila Lakes, a series of glacial lakes, where turquoise waters reflect the awe-inspiring peaks. For this tour, we will start early in the morning and be back in Sofia in the evening.

Day 3-4
The next day, we will do some sightseeing and visit the most famous spots in the city center! We will also have a traditional Bulgarian dress experience, where we will get to try them on and learn a folklore dance. Of course, we will also try some local cuisine and have some drinks together! The next day, is only planned as departure. If you stay longer, you can plan some extra activities and leave your luggage at the reception.
