I work in post-production and luckily, my job allows me to be a hybrid, so I have the flexibility for traveling. Are you ready to have the best vacation ever? Sardinia is a gorgeous Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. Itโs a fantastic holiday destination, with incredible beaches, interesting history, and naturally, delicious food (think pasta, pizza, gelato, and more). I have curated a detailed 8-day Sardinia itinerary below for us as inspiration! We will be staying in San Priamo at a GORGEOUS Airbnb. There are 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, 3 bathrooms & a big private pool in the backyard as well as a garden for us to enjoy and relax. If you wish to do laundry, there is a washer on site. We are only 2 miles away from the beach and restaurants nearby. This was BY FAR the best trip I've ever been on. The entire trip was nothing short of amazing! We were able to enjoy all the pizza, pasta, and gelato we wanted, do all the activities with a good balance of relaxation time in between. Daniela was amazing at guiding us around town and helping us talk to locals when there was a language barrier. I am so grateful to have my first experience in Italy with her! I highly recommend booking with Daniella-- she is very knowledgable about traveling in general, and you are guaranteed to have a great time with her leading the trip!

Trip Itinerary

Cagliari
Day 1-3
We will meet at Cagliari airport on August 26th, pick up the rental car, and head to the hotel. Depending on what time everyone gets in, we will have a relaxed first day settling in and going out to eat for some lunch and dinner. We will then spend the next day exploring the Capital of the Island and visit the San Benedetto Market. We will taste Sardiniaโs exquisite cheeses and cold cuts, bread specialties, delicious pasta, and unexpected sweets. Next up, we will head to the Castello District, which is the oldest district in the city.of Saint Remy.

Villasimius
Day 3-5
Spending time in one of the most stunning villages and beaches on the southern coast of Sardinia, Villasimius. This area offers us to see some of the most breath taking beaches and landscapes. A good time for some R & R. Love wine? Want to do a tasting? We will stop by Colline del Vento and enjoy their selection of natural wines and foods.

Cape Carbonara
Day 5-6
On day 4 we will visit the western side of Capo Carbonara, and see the magnificent beach of Cala Caterina and the marshes of Stagno di Notteri, which is known for pink flamingos that live in the area. The beaches we will explore: are Porto Sa Ruxi, Campus, Campulongu, and Riso Beach.

Sa Spendula
Day 6-7
We will spend Day 5 hiking to Sa Spendula. This is one of the best waterfalls Sardinia has to offer. The hike is considered medium in difficulty. Along the way, we can take a refreshing dip in Sa Spendulaโs pools. We will get active so this is perfect for those of you who are hikers and fans of walks in nature.

Cala Pira
Day 7-8
We will spend the last day of the trip enjoying the beautiful town of Costa Rei. 13 minutes out of the center, Cala Pira is the beach in this area we will spend time relaxing on. Perfect way to end the trip.
