✡️♋️ ABOUT ME ✡️♋️ I am 24yo, originally from Belém, but I have been living abroad for the past 8 years (Israel, Germany & Austria). I am currently looking for open minded people to join me in this amazing trip where I can share some of the secrets of my hometown with. I am a foodie, art enthusiast and completely in love with Belém. I organized this trip with a lot of love and care, I hope to show you a different side of the Brazilian and Amazonian lifestyle. As sustainable development is one of my biggest interests, I will do my best to ensure we have a sustainable and responsible touristic experience! 🏙🌳 ABOUT BELÉM DO PARÁ 🏙🌳 Belém is the metropolis of the Amazon Rainforest, situated on Guajará Bay, part of the vast Amazon River delta, due to its location we can experience the best of the Amazon rainforest without leaving the city. Belém was granted the title of Unesco Creative City of Gastronomy. Belém has one of the most original cuisines in Brazil, with Portuguese, indigenous and African influences. Since the city is well known for its gastronomic scene, it is packed with cute cafes & restaurants, food markets, artisanal shops & local art galleries. 🌞🍻🍽🚣‍♀️🌳 OUR FREE TIME 🌞🍻🍽🚣‍♀️🌳 We will be staying in a beautiful designed house in the heart of the city! During the week I hope for us to do activities together after working hours, either cooking, playing games or exploring the city. There are many bars with live music, restaurants, markets & museums in town that we can visit. I would also like organize a local cuisine tour for us so we can better get to know the city’s culture & in one of the weekends we could go on a trip to the Combu Island where we'd be able to experience the life of local river communities. (NOT INCLUDED IN THE FULL PRICE, either you cover your individual costs or pay a fee and I would take care of everything in advance) 🎁 WHAT'S INCLUDED 🎁 - Breakfast included - Equipped kitchen - Yoga classes on Mondays & Wednesdays - Brazilian Sim Card - so you have internet everywhere upon your arrival! - Local Cuisine Tour or Nightlife Tour 🏡 Accommodation: We will stay in a beautiful design type house in the heart of the city with a lot of space and a big garden! Depending on how early you book the trip there could be two options for the same price ☺️ 1. Private room with bathroom OR 2. Shared room (twin beds) with bathroom The house has a lot of common areas to work and a well equipped kitchen! The WiFi has the following specs (download 295Mbps/ upload 40,6Mbps), so it is should be enough to work from our laptops at home! ➕OPTIONAL➕ Things that can be included for a price, the best if we organize it before hand so its cheaper and reserved. Some of the optional activities you can book include: transportation, daily tours, access to the cutest co-working space (10min from the house), kayaking in the Amazon River and more! P.S: I have created the perfect PDF so you don't have to spend hours and hours on google looking for travel, health & security info + a personal curated local guide + packing checklist = the greatest FAQ (JadhAnswers). Belém

Day 1-8
Belém, sometimes called Pará, city and port, capital of Pará estado (state), northern Brazil. It is situated on Guajará Bay, part of the vast Amazon River delta, near the mouth of the Guamá River, about 80 miles (130 km) up the Pará River from the Atlantic Ocean. Its climate is equatorial, with an average annual temperature of 80 °F (27 °C). There are so many attractive places in the city, from beautiful ecological parks to cute cafes and restaurants where you can watch the beautiful sunset at the end of the day!
2

Ilha do Cumb

Day 8
Along the rivers of the Amazon live the ribeirinhos – a traditional population, depending mainly on artisanal fishing and community-based forest management (timber and non-timber products). The Combu Island is formally an environmentally Protected Area but traditional communities are allowed to live there. On the Island there are many restaurants, locals hosting unique experiences & some amazing hiking trails!
3

Complex Ver-O-Peso

Day 8
Latin America's biggest open-air market sits alongside the choppy waters of the Guajará Bay and is Belém's quintessential attraction: a working jungle market where craftsmanship, natural essence perfumes, typical food and native fruits are sold.
