This trip is for you ifโฆ youโre ready to walk , carry what you need on your back, and let weather shape your days. Youโll learn navigation, endurance, and how to stay steady when conditions change. If stepping beyond comfort, trusting yourself, and feeling grounded through effort and landscape sounds right, the Highlands will teach you quietly but honestly. ๐ Journey Overview This expedition leads with train, boat and on foot through remote regions of the Scottish Highlands. We move away from classic routes, crossing wild terrain with full hiking days and frequent wild camping. The journey follows group rhythm rather than fixed plans. I share practical survival skills, environmental knowledge, and guidance for moving safely and responsibly through wild terrain. There is also space for presence, reflection, and genuine group connection. We travel light, adapt constantly, and allow the land to shape the experience. (15 kg max i would recommend on the shoulders , not more!)
๐งญ Guiding Philosophy I have spent many years traveling on multi day nature and adventure journeys, deliberately moving through remote and untamed landscapes. My approach is simple, grounded, and respectful toward the land, the group, and myself. For me, nature is far more than a destination. It is home. I guide with calm awareness, practical experience, and deep respect for natural processes. The focus is not on performance or extremes, but on moving attentively, living simply, and reconnecting with something essential that often gets lost in modern life.
๐ก Accommodation Details The journey is based primarily on wild camping in remote regions of the Scottish Highlands. We sleep in tents and remain closely connected to the landscape throughout the expedition. Depending on route we spend individual nights in bothies. These are simple, unmanned mountain shelters. In Edinburgh, accommodation in a simple B & B , offering space to arrive, rest, and close the journey before departure.

Edinburgh
Day 10
Closing the Expedition On Day 10, we officially close the expedition. We come together one last time for a final group reflection, sharing experiences and moments from the journey, and consciously marking the transition out of expedition mode. After this closing moment, everyone is free to depart individually, according to their own travel plans and timing. Whether you head straight home, continue traveling, or stay longer in Edinburgh is entirely up to you. The goal is not to rush back into normal life, but to leave with something lasting.
