This journey begins in the exciting city of Kuala Lumpur where we'll visit ancient temples and caves, the famous Petronas towers, China town, food markets and more! After a few days in the metropolis, we retreat to the peaceful island of Bali where we enjoy views of rice paddy fields and a peaceful spa retreat. Activities include a sunrise hike, hot springs, bike tour, monkey forest, cooking class and, of course, island hopping!

While there is so much to love about travel, what I love the most is how it unassumingly bridges cultural gaps, reminding us we are created with hearts to love. Details about the accommodation: Please note rooms are shared (2 people), however, you are welcome to request a private room at an additional charge. We will be staying in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur and a spa resort in Bali. Accommodations are minimum four star rating and have many onsite amenities with a great central location to area attractions.

Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur

Day 1-3

Our journey begins in Kuala Lumpur in the Bukit Bintang district. The hotel is walking distance to the Petronas towers, high-end shopping, KLCC Park, the 10 Hutong Food Market and so much more. Spend the day relaxing at the luxurious hotel, swimming in the rooftop pool or exploring the surrounding area. In the evening we come together for sunset over the city at a local hotspot with incredible views. The following day we arrive early to tour the Batu Caves, one of the biggest attractions in the country. Comprising three different caverns, the Batu Caves is one of the most sacred Hindu sites outside of India. The Wilayah Mosque is also on the itinerary and easily one of the most beautiful mosques in all of Asia. Other destinations include the former redlight district, Jalan Alor, a top culinary destination. The rest of the day is yours to shop, relax or explore.

Bali

Day 3-7

In Bali, enjoy a peaceful stay in the beautiful Ubud region. Enjoy a bicycle tour through the rice paddy fields, a local cooking experience and coffee plantations. One of the most memorable days is sure to be the Mt Batur hike. Hiking to the summit of a volcano for sunrise views of the island is one of the most memorable experiences you can have in Bali. hike is only 4 miles (6.4km) round trip and moderate skill level. Once completed, enjoy relaxing in the natural hot springs at the base of the volcano. On the last day, relax on the water with a day of boating and fun on the water.

Metro Manila

Day 7-12

Arrive to Manila and spend the day exploring the city. The rest of the time here will be enjoyed getting in touch with nature. Hike Mt. Batulao, a fairly easy hike that gives sweeping views. Stay in Batangas Bay, spend a day snorkeling and island hopping. It’s during our time here we meet with a local NGO to learn of their mission, struggles, and get a personal experience of day-to-day life. Our entire time in the Philippines will be a beautiful blend of beaches and mountains with plenty of delicious local food.
