Coastal hikes, super bloom trails

This trip is about exploring coastal towns, cities, and outdoor destinations along the Pacific Coast Highway(PCH). Spring arrives in Northern California in April! This is such a wonderful time to be in Northern California — the weather is nice, with lots of sunny, warm days but no oppressive summer heat or coastal fog. Our itinerary would be a daily hike of 4-5 miles of spectacular scenery along PCH ending the day with a visit to local craft brewery. We spend 1-day in the Napa valley and 2 days checking out highlights of SanFrancisco. This is a highly flexible trip and can be modified as desired by all trip mates.

I live in Pacifica, CA. I love easy hikes along coast with spectacular meadows and wildflower blooms. I am retired and love to meet people and introduce them to my favorite haunts in the area. I had a wonderful time doing a similar trip last spring in the Blue ridge parkway area.

The hotel is just steps away from the sand and surf of the Pacific Ocean. Beach access and ocean vistas are complemented by gorgeous accommodations, convenient amenities, and high-end facilities, while San Francisco, Napa Valley, and other Bay Area destinations are a short drive away. Day 1-6

Located just a stone’s throw from the Pacific Ocean, Historic Downtown Pacifica (HDP) is a lively coastal neighborhood with great local brewery, easy hikes with spectacular views. Its a surfers paradise and its Taco Bell Cantina on the Linda Mar beach is a must visit!

Napa Valley

Day 6

Napa Valley is one of the world’s premier wine destinations and boasts more than 400 wineries and wine tasting rooms. Stroll through the vineyards, talk with a winemaker, or sip award-winning Napa Valley wines with dramatic views of the valley.

San Francisco

Day 6

With its iconic bridge, historic cable cars, and beautiful Victorian architecture, San Francisco is undeniably one of the world’s great cities. The entire region, in fact, demands to be explored. The vibrant and diverse East Bay, with cities like Oakland and Berkeley, is a cultural and culinary hotbed. We will walk through Farmers markets in Embarcadero and Civic center. Walk near Sutro baths and the Land’s end. Stroll around the Wilhelmina Park.
