Calm down, relax and enjoy the smell of wood and the silence. If you have enough energy, join us on a small hiking tour to explore the area around the cabin with numerous hiking trails! We can also go to the supermarket (a car is available for up to 4 people + driver) to get stuff you will need for the week. :-)

Sjusjøen

Day 2-3
Let's go hiking on a tour from Nordseter to Sjusjoen, app. 3 hours medium-level walking. Go through dense woods, past beautiful lakes and enjoy the scenic view. Pay a visit to lake Sjusjoen and enjoy a refreshing bath in the lake, if you like. You can either take your lunch pack or get food at a café in Sjusjoen - as you like. In the evening, you can enjoy a relaxation session with me, if you like (I'm a Relaxation Trainer)

Lillehammer

Day 3-4
Enjoy the relaxing and also sporting atmosphere and spirit in the Olympic city of Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games. Here you will find all shopping opportunities, from boutiques on the main street (Storgata) to large shopping center Strandtorget. Everything can easily be reached by bus from the cabin. Or go to Lake Mjosa beach and just relax in the sun or enjoy a dip in the lake. We are flexible depending on your preferences! Check out visitlillehammer.com: Lillehammer has its own place in the heart of many sports enthusiasts, thanks to the 1994 Winter Olympics, one of Norway's biggest and most successful sporting events. Lillehammer rewards great recognition both as sports and cultural city. In 2017, the city was named UNESCO City of Literature, and each year you can experience the Norwegian Literature Festival. In the charming and historic buildings of Lillehammer there is a modern shopping district with several specialty shops and a great selection of everything from cozy cafes to quality restaurants. The city has many museums and cultural centers, including Maihaugen, Norwegian Olympic Museum, Bjerkebæk - Sigrid Undset's home and Lillehammer Art Museum. And you should not miss a ride with Skibladner, the wheelbarrow who has shipped passengers, mail and goods between the cities around Mjøsa since 1856. Outside the center, both young and old can play in Hunderfossen Theme Park, Kids´s Farm Hunderfossen, Lilleputthammer Miniature Town or in Hafjell with downhill cycling in the summer. In the evening, we'll have a BBQ at the cabin!
4

Sjoa

Day 6-7
Today, we'll go RAFTING!! (if you like) We will go to famous Sjoa river where the water does not flow so gently... On the contrary: the water is in full motion, ready to kick the boats back and forth. Depending on your risk appetite, join a highly adventurous and adrenaline-kicking tour in a narrow canyon or choose the more relaxed way of rafting the idyllic Sjoa river - which is just as enjoyable! Of course, safety first: you will receive a comprehensive safety training and a professional guide sits in your boat. You will also get full safety equipment, incl. helmet, wet suits and socks. During the trips there is the option to take a refreshing bath in the river and/or hop into deep water from one of the cliffs. Afterwards, take a relaxing hot shower or enjoy a hot tub, depending on where you end up.
