Discover the wilderness of Swedish Lapland

The coming days belong entirely to nature, freedom and the small secrets that Lapland has to offer. After a rich and relaxed breakfast, we head out into the wilderness, which is right outside our door. Depending on the weather and the mood, we plan our days. You will find our guided experiences and activities this week: Fjäll Hike: An experienced guide from our team will take you and your group through pristine forests past wild streams into Fjäll, the tree-free zone above our lodge. From up here you get a magnificent panoramic view of the vast landscape and a feeling of where you ended up here and what this landscape can do with you. Up here we linger a little, take a break and let what our eyes see. Relaxed, we continue our hike, encountering ancient pine trees, drawn by wind, snow and cold. Here we always have chances to meet reindeer, moose or birds such as caper and birch chickens. Our bow brings us back to the dense forests, the moss under our feet we look an infinitely large green carpet. We pass through one or the other swamp area until we arrive back at our lodge in Storberg. After this approximately 4 hour tour, you now have room for yourself and can go after what draws you. Visit & hike at the Trollforsen The Trollforsen are among the largest rapids in Europe. We take a day trip to this special natural phenomenon and continue to the north for about 90 km. The troll fores can be wonderfully hiked and discovered in easy ways. The primal force and wildness of the water are unique. Here we are about 6 km on the way and find beautiful places that invite you to pause. There is enough space and time to perceive this special place until we decide to go home. Canoe & wilderness lunch In front of our lodge are several lakes that are connected. After a briefing in the canoeing, we will lead you out onto the water. Our tour takes us over large and small water areas, you meander through the landscape. We look at where the beaver lives and with a little luck we can watch him or some moose by the water. If you want, you can also try fishing on this tour. We take our lunch in a special place. Looking at the water, we cook our meal around the campfire. We don't need much to have the sense of satisfaction and freedom. After the refreshment we paddle relaxed back to our lodge. The tour lasts approx. 4-5 hours. Tipi Event Our teepee on the lake is a magical place. Located in the middle of the wilderness on a headland, there is a teepee of us that we have integrated into our offer as another outdoor experience. The ca. 6 km long hike leads us first over easy walks and later off-road through the boreal coniferous forest past some small waters to our destination. Benches, fireplaces and stoves deliver everything we need to make it go well in this special place. Here we cook again on the open fire, maybe take a bath in the lake before we then make our way back. Our activities are an invitation, not a must. You will get enough space from us to be able to go on your very own journey of discovery with us. Our log cabin by the lake invites you to swim, you can use our barrel sauna or discover one of the countless small paths around our lodge.
