Details about this trip
Are you the one who always feels tired and stressed out with work? Or are you looking for a trip that lets you witness Japanese cultural attractions in the countryside? Then this trip is for YOU!! We're going to visit tourist attractions in Nagano while working remotely. The theme is to have relaxing but energetic times experiencing local life in Japan. But why pick country life experience instead of city life? Seeing majesty of nature lets us forget marginal worries in real life. Literally it gives us power!! Although this is a nature/culture tour it doesn't mean it's going to be boring. You will see a lot of Japanese historical buldings too. I bet you'll feel like you're in the old-time Japan!

About me! Hi! I'm Chiemi Maruyama, a 24-year-old Japanese🇯🇵 and always looking for the opportunities to experience something new! Born and raised in Japan, stayed for two years in the United States(NY, NJ), and visited Toronto. I didn't have a lot of opportunities to travel until college. My family was so busy and broke that nobody even planned a family retreat when I was a little kid. As grew up knowing only about my hometown, I got very fascinated with the world outside the town. That's when I started to explore! So I'm not 'let's plan an extravaganza tour' kind of travel planner (for now I guess). But I'm confident that we can have good times! To tell you more about me, I'm ambivalent, meaning I get very talkative and goofy only when we get to know you better. I could be shy at first and would then warm up to you! So if you're looking for a person who leads you with her bright personality I might not the person for you, but you're looking for a person who is flexible and spontaneous but responsible then I know I'm good at it☺️! I'm looking for people like who just love new experience, who are spontaneous, open-minded, or friendly!!

Details about the accommodation: I'm still on the hunt to book the best accommodation for all working TripMates. My plan is to have those with private rooms! I'll post more details when bookings have been made. We'll go out or cook at home for food. The food expenses are not included in the budget. If you have any preference on what kind of room you wanna be in just let me know!

If you are a keen hot spring goer, you'd know this name, Yudanaka! In Yudanaka & Shibu Onsen Resort, you can enjoy the old hot springs and the view of traditional buildings. The heck! There's even the ryokan that has been told as a part of inspiration for Spirited Away!♨️ We'll shower off every bit of stress in the onsen. Azumino

Day 8-9
Finally we'll finish the trip with The Daio Wasabi Farm in Azumino. The Daio Wasabi Farm uses the spring water coming down from the Alps in Nagano. You are not only seeing the wasabi farm, but you can try out wasabi soft-serve ice cream or steak with wasabi on the side!🥩 Feeling the spring water with your hand, you'd feel cleansed from everything! And there are multiple photogenic spots too!
