Guided trip
Join me on a 4 days trip to explore the Italian Alps, go ski, have great food, drink and dance at après ski on the snow! We will be skiing in Vialattea, a ski area with its highest point at 2,800 meters that offers a total of 400 km of ski slopes and modern ski lift facilities. Whether you are an experienced skier or you would like to learn, this trip might be right for you! ✋ About myself: My name is Serena, I am 27 years old, and I grew up in Italy, but I have lived in London for the past 4 years. I organize trips on JMT and have a small London-based food blog. I speak English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French and Russian. I like food, wine, yoga, travelling, photography and the mountains! I am an experienced traveler and this is my fifth trip organized through JoinMyTrip - very much looking forward to it. What is included in the price: 💰 - Accommodation in a mountain chalet (4 nights) - Car - One typical dinner Additional costs on the trip: other meals out, grocery, gas for the car, ski pass for 2 days (approx. 40 euros per day), ski gear rental, personal expenses 🛏️ About the accommodation: The house is located in Traverses, 10 mins drive from Sestriere, one of the main ski towns of the Italian Alps. You can see photos of the house in the gallery. It features 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 spacious living room with a fireplace, one bedroom with 2 bunk beds and one mezzanine with a double bed. Expectations about the trip: I am looking to have a fun time, spending time outdoor on the snow, eating good food and maybe party time at one of the après ski parties. For detailed information about the itinerary, you can check the stops section down below 📌🗺️ I am looking for 4/5 open-minded Trip Mates to join me, with only criteria open in communication. Ideal if you are a medium level skier, but even if you never skied before, you can decide to get some lessons with a ski instructor which I can arrange for you (approx 50 euros). Don't hesitate to reach out if you feel the same way or if you have any questions, pop me a message. 📩 Hope to see you soon 💕🤟🏻

This trip exceeded my expectations! Serena is a great guide, knows so much about the region as well as other regions so gave so many tips/recommendations for future travel/dining. It was very well organised and showed us the best parts on lake Como, the Langhe wine region and Turin. It was very flexible so we were able to change things up depending on our needs. I highly recommend and would love to attend another trip in the future!

Serena is a fabulous trip leader. She treats you like a friend instantly and is well prepared for the trip. Although she planned the trip carefully in advance she was always open to changing the schedule in favor of her trip mates’ wishes. Being a local, she had interesting and useful facts about the region, the food, the wine and knows the best places for eating out and shopping. Not to forget all the amazing gelato places we visited. The wine tasting venues have been chosen carefully to provide a great overview of the local wine and to have different experiences at each venue. I’d go anytime on a trip with Serena again.

It was a great experience. Serena is a lovely trip leader. She took care of everything, the organisation, the translation and the driving. She was always happy to adjust the activities to our wishes. It is great to travel with a local.

Sestriere

Day 1-2
Arrival in Turin airport or city center on Wednesday, meeting point in the city center where I will pick you up with the car and we will drive straight to the accommodation in Traverses (10 mins drive from Sestriere). We will use the rest of the day to settle down, do grocery shopping and cook a nice dinner to get to know each other, maybe play some board games with a glass of wine.

Sestriere

Day 2-5
It's ski time! If you want to take up on some lessons I will get that sorted for you with a ski instructor (approx 50 euros per hour plus ski pass) if not we can just purchase our ski pass (approx 43 euros with insurance) and explore the fantastic slopes of Vialattea! Over 4000 km of ski slopes, you won't be bored. We will respect everyone's pace and make sure we all enjoy the skiing experience, I also love to stop for a beer and some great food on the slopes while soaking up some sun. Almost every day there are ski parties with drinks and music starting from 5pm onwards, we can opt for one day and check it out.

Turin

Day 5
Other activities if we don't feel like skiing every day are hiking, visit the town center, spa and wellness center, chill at home and eat plenty of comfy food. On Sunday we will drive back to Turin where everyone can fly back :)
