Welcome to Romagna, the land of medieval villages, millenary basilicas, sumptuous palaces and romantic walks by the slain a friendly atmosphere from the past that is still present our days. This cycling tour will take you to discover this magical region through itineraries that run along the Adriatic coast, go up to the Apennines and explore beautiful villages and cities of art. There will be culinary experiences to delight every palate from land to sea dishes assorted by various DOC wines of local production. A trip to Romagna will bring you to discovery of places that look like they have just come out of a painting.

Day 1-2
Arrival in Bellaria and accommodation at the hotel Welcome drink and presentation of the tour, followed by bike fitting with our guides in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Santarcangelo di Romagna

Day 2-3
First day of cycling and we leave the coast to go inland, passing through the villages of Savignano sul Rubicone and Santarcangelo di Romagna, places that boast ancient origin and keep their local traditions! Lunch in local restaurant and return by bike to Bellaria for a relaxing afternoon on the beach or at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Rimini

Day 3-4
We start the day with an easy ride to along the coast up to Rimini, the symbol of the Romagna Riviera. Once there, on site with a local guide we will go through the history of this place, which is so much more than just seacoast and beaches. The city was founded by the romans, whose traces we still find in our days. We will explore the beautiful neighborhood of San Giuliano, one of the most iconic of Rimini, thanks to te worldwide figure of Federico Fellini, one of the most celebrated and singular filmmaker of the neorealism, that was born there. Lunch in local restaurant and return to Bellaria by bike. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Park of the Saltern of Cervia

Day 4-5
Morning is at your own leisure to relax on the beach or personally explore the area around.Lunch will be served in the hotel restaurant or directly on the beach, if you wish. In the afternoon, a pleasant ride towards the coastal town of Cesenatico and the museum Spazio Pantani, a place dedicated to the cycling champion Marco Pantani.To follow, we head for the Salt Pans of Cervia, a unique ecosystem that offers shelter to numerous species of birds, such as flamingo, black-winged stilts and great egrets and a great point to admire an amazing sunset with a light dinner served on site. Return to Bellaria by minivan and overnight at the hotel.

San Marino

Day 5-6
After breakfast, the farmhouse Tenuta di Saiano will be our main visit of the day. We will climb the ramps that lead to this important farm of the great organic production and the managers of the estate will give us a visit of this place, surrounded and immersed inn nature, to understand their production chain. We will combine all this with food and wine tasting of their own production. Return to Bellaria by bike or minivan for a dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Cesena

Day 6-7
Last ride in this splendid land that will lead us to discover the small village of Longiano and then Cesena, an important town along the via Emilia, famous for the Malatesta family and their monuments, an important Italian family and dynasty that ruled the area in the Late Middle Age. Lunch in a local restaurant in Cesena and return to Bellaria by bike. Farewell dinner and overnight at the hotel.
