Guided trip
I have traveled extensively in all the major national parks of Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, working directly with local tour operators and service providers. Besides English and Spanish, I speak five African languages including native Setswana and can therefore negotiate with local operators. .Join me on this amazing safari through the Kalahari,Okavango Delta,Chobe and the Victoria Falls.I will plan the logistics. Think about factors such as: how much time to allow for travel between destinations, taking into consideration terrain, road conditions, border delays, wildlife viewing etc.Driving is probably the most underestimated activity of any Botswana safari. It requires a huge amount of time and effort: rough tracks are extremely challenging, with travellers frequently becoming stranded in sand or mud. Such delays can cause a lot of stress and drastically alter your planned itinerary. As a former tour guide my self,I have experience, trained 4×4 driver, not only having the skill and expertise to deal with the terrain, but I also have complete awareness of conditions currently prevailing along the route. This can save you considerable inconvenience, avoiding unpleasant delays and keeping you on track. For a holiday as special as a once-in-a-lifetime Botswana safari, you really want to let go, sit back and relax and enjoy every moment! Most of the international flights land in Johannesburg,South Africa and you get a connecting flight to Maun,Botswana.I will be in Maun a week before to make sure that everything is ready for you. Trip Itinerary
1

Maun

Day 1-2
This is the get-away-town to the Delta. On your arrival, you will be picked up from airport to your hotel and relax after a long flight.Depending on your arrival time ,you will be briefd about the preparations for the following Moremi Game reserve adventure. If time allows,we have an option of a scenic flight in the after noon to get a marvellous birds view of the Delta.
2

Moremi Game Reserve

Day 2-5
Moremi game reserve The Moremi Game Reserve covers parts of the Okavango Delta. This is perhaps the most beautiful game reserve in Africa with large numbers of the animals including the Big Five. Facilities are basic, but there are ablution blocks and water. During your visit in the Moremi Game reserve, you will have ample time to do game drives that take you deeper into the Okavango Delta. Birdlife is guaranteed to be extraordinary, particularly during the summer months. The vegetation in Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta promises to be fantastic. Mokoro trips in the Okavango Delta is a great activity, experiencing the traditional transport of the villages within the Delta and travelling the waterways so quietly that you can surprise the pygmy geese and fish eagles.
3

Savute Elephant Lodge, A Belmond Safari, Botswana

Day 5-7
We would suggest an early morning departure from Moremi to Savuti as the road is thick and sandy and slow driving. The Savuti channel was dry for more than 20 years, but it is now filled with water. This water runs into a plain which is known as the Savuti marsh. Huge concentrations of plain game such as zebra and wildebeest graze on these plains, while the lions feast on the abundance of prey. Here your 4x4 driving skills will be tested in the thick sand of the Chobe National Park.
4

Chobe National Park

Day 7-9
Chobe National park. Depart to Kasane and set up camp under the big green trees close to the Chobe River. Kasane is a small, but very busy town situated where the four countries Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia meet. There are no fences between the village of Kasane and the Chobe National Park. So don’t be too amazed if you see a hippo or elephant wandering down the road! Do a sunset cruise on the Chobe river and you are guaranteed to see a postcard perfect sunset. Kasane and the Chobe region have a number of interesting spots to visit, the old baobab tree being no exception. In the early part of the previous century the hollow, gnarled trunk was used as a prison before the current one.
5

Victoria Falls

Day 9-10
We arrive at the Victoria Falls and this is our last day of the adventure. After driving to our hotel,we visit the Falls i the afternoon. It is an amazing water natural phenomenon!Spanning almost 1.7 kilometres, and split between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the mighty Victoria Falls can be seen from both sides of the Zambezi River and has two entrance gates.Optional activities include; White water rafting bungie jumping Dinner cruise on the Zambezi River
