Myanmar at the best time to travel

Hello my dears, I could not quite satisfy my hunger for travel for this year, so I would like to travel Myanmar on the warmest recommendation of a good friend. So far I have already found 2 companions for the trip. We are thus currently 3 (a woman, 2 men) aged from mid-20s to early 30s and are looking for one more person for this Asian adventure 👍 Nothing is booked yet, the travel period December fits best for us and is in the dry season with pleasant 30 degrees, here we would be happy 2-3 weeks in Myanmar on the road. Since the planned period is the main travel season, it is probably useful to book one or the other accommodation in advance. The stops planned so far are based mostly on personal recommendations and if you had seen how the person beamed at the description, you would definitely want to go there too! Of course, one or the other point can still be adjusted here, we are flexible ;-) Between the stops, the trip by bus or from Mandalay to Bagan also by boat offers itself, on site then itself e.g. the bike, a scooter or a TukTuk. Who wants to accompany us? ;-)

Trip Itinerary
1

Yangon

Day 1-2
Are the people in Myanmar really as friendly as everyone says? We will find out! :-) Arrive, get used to the climate and soak up the first impressions. The first accommodation I would like to book in advance in any case.
2

Hpa-An

Day 2-5
The next stop would be Hpa-an, probably an absolute recommendation and one of the highlights in Myanmar. A small sleepy town, but the landscape has it all. There are countless caves and great landscapes to discover. It is a good idea to rent a scooter or take a tuk-tuk through the area.
3

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda Road

Day 5-6
The Golden Rock is one of the most important sanctuaries in Myanmar and probably also worth a visit. With the truck we go to the top of the mountain, there we would spend a night and enjoy the great view.
4

Inle Lake West Corridor Road

Day 6-8
Probably a very touristy spot on Inle Lake, which you could possibly skip. However, the vegetable cultivation on the water is very interesting and it offers one or the other good bike ride to explore the area.
5

Mandalay

Day 8-10
Mandalay is a good starting point for many great sights. You could do here, for example, a bike tour to one of the temple cities incl. crossing with the ferry and much more. On the picture you can also see the U-leg bridge, here I would like to make one or two good photos ;-)
6

Old Bagan

Day 10-13
The city of over 3,000 temples and pagodas is unique in the world and probably absolutely impressive, here I definitely want to go, we could start the journey, for example, by boat from Mandalay. Especially recommended to me on site were the sunrises and sunsets, which you must have seen from one of the many temples. According to a friend, all sights can be reached by scooter or bicycle. We could also fly with a balloon over Bagan! Who is afraid of heights? ;-)
7

Ngapali Main Road

Day 13-17
For the end before the journey home I think a few days on the beach is not bad. Where exactly is still open, but some of us would like to plan a short diving trip ;-)
8

Yangon

Day 17-18
The journey home is imminent, we arrive in Yangon in time to enjoy the last evening.
