On this trip we are going to cruise around three different atolls in the Maldives, island hopping, snorkeling and connecting over our shared love for the ocean and this beautiful country. This trip is for anyone who has ever dreamed of visiting the Maldives and having the opportunity to visit multiple local islands, snorkel in the clearest blue waters and make friends - all while having logistics and transport handled by our seasoned and dedicated crew. From the moment you land till departure day, the crew and myself will take care of you. Our trips are all-inclusive of roundtrip airport transfers, accommodation on our safari boat, 3x meals a day, unlimited drinking water, tea and coffee and all taxes and fees. Also included are our snorkeling excursions with our crew and local island visits. If you want to scuba dive or visit a resort for a day trip, we are able to help arrange this at an extra cost. We will start our journey in Male, the capital city. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to our safari boat where you will get settled, have lunch and meet your group mates before we set our course for south Male Atoll. We will continue through South Male Atoll, to Vaavu Atoll, Ari Atoll and then back to Male where you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Along the way, we will visit 2-3 local islands, snorkel in multiple spots - including ones known to be frequented by mantas and whale sharks, and seek out sandbanks and deserted islands in the middle of the ocean to explore. You will enjoy 3 buffet meals a day in our communal dining area and you will have access to two spacious decks(covered and uncovered) to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. My name is Jess and I first visited Maldives in 2015. Since then, I have lived there for multiple years working as English teacher and spending my free time in the ocean and exploring local islands. I fell in love with this country and the ocean - it is where my love for exploring the underwater world was born. That love is something that I want to share with you. Maldives is an incredible unique place straddling the equator where one can feel disconnected from the stressors or society and reconnect with nature - the ocean and themselves. The ocean will help your worries melt away and tap back into the joy of being human. Some of my fondest memories of this beautiful place are the stunning, vivid sunsets that are forever etched in my memory. In addition to my love of the ocean, I am a Red Cross certified Deepwater Lifeguard and CPR certified. I want everyone to feel comfortable in the ocean whether they are a seasoned swimmer or challenging themselves to test the waters for the first time. I am also a Level 1 certified freediver and Open Water Scuba Diver - so if anyone wants a buddy for these types of activities, I will be ready to join you! I am also a certified yoga instructor and (soon-to-be) personal trainer and I would love nothing more than to offer sunrise or sunset yoga and stretch sessions to the group! Our safari boat has double occupancy cabins with private en-suite bathrooms. You will be sharing with one other person and we are happy to give you the opportunity to choose your bunk mate. In addition, single rooms are available on request and at an extra fee. All rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are provided. All rooms are also air-conditioned.
