Lisbon cityscapes, wine and food - explore the city with a local

DAY 1 ARRIVAL We will be staying in the heart of Lisbon! Our Itinerary will be as follows: Day 1 - Arrival, rest, dinner Day 2 - Sunset boat cruise and walking along the Rio Tejo Day 3 - Enchanted Sintra adventure (Pena Palace and more) Day 4 - Wine tasting in Belém Day 5 - Surprise adventure and Fado dinner Day 6 - Departure

DAY 2 SUNSET RIVER RIDE We will explore along the beautiful Tejo (Tagus) river and hop on a boat in the evening for a guided sunset river ride, complete with wine. This is my favorite activity in Lisbon. Afterwards, there will be free time for dinner and/or going out, or resting back at the Airbnb. NOTE: This is not the boat we will be taking, this is my everyday commuter boat, just as a fun fact!

Every night we will stay in the same Airbnb, I am filling out this space so that the route on the website looks correct. In between each stop I have added another stop just to signify going home and how we can get there. Every option except Sintra includes the possibility of walking home, though the walk from Belém is quite long. If we do not want to walk, public transportation is easy and Ubers are fairly priced.

DAY 3 ENCHANTED SINTRA ADVENTURE Sintra is just a train ride away! We will go to the beautiful Pena Palace in the morning, and the afternoon will be free to explore other jewels in Sintra. I will give recommendations and you can proceed as you please. We will meet back at the train and head home to our Airbnb together. Dinner could be together in Sintra or Lisbon, or you can choose free time for yourself.

We will have to take a train from Sintra to get back to our Airbnb. As mentioned, free time is always an option in the evening, except on the final Fado dinner night. I want you to enjoy yourselves, and personally, like to have free time in the evening.

DAY 4 WINE TASTING A trip to Portugal is not complete without a wine tasting! Portugal makes so much delicious and affordable wine, and it is not very widely exported. A wine tasting in Portugal is a special treat we can enjoy together. The rest of the evening will be free.

As mentioned, for your second to last evening/night you will have free time to enjoy, back in Lisbon. I will be available for everyone, and of course recommend my favourite restaurants and shopping. Again, free time is important to me on vacation, but if you prefer more guidance, I am here for you.

DAY 5 LOCAL SURPRISE AND FADO DINNER I will show you a local surprise around 3pm. I will not share it here, because if I gave a way all local secrets they would not be local or special! I will tell you more when we have a video call about the trip :) At night, we will go to the oldest part of Lisbon, Alfama. Alfama has many Fado restaurants; Fado i the classic Portuguese music that you can not miss out on. Plus, the restaurants have high-quality, typical Portuguese dining. We can wander back through the old city to our Airbnb, stop at a bar on the way, or just go to bed before travelling the next day.

Our last night at the Airbnb...as mentioned above, we can decide if we want to go out in Alfama after dinner, or if we would like to enjoy some chill time at the Airbnb. We can also split up, as I imagine some people may have early flights, while others will have late flights.

DAY 6 GOODBYE On the last day you will go to the airport. If departure times are similar, we can go together, If not, it will be a quick Uber from the Airbnb. I will give you all of the tips and tricks for navigating the Lisbon airport, depending on your destination.
