Lake District UK, Great Langdale Pikes, Two days of Hiking, Camping Included

Guided trip
I am leading a trip in the heart of the Lake District in the UK. I will be organising and planning the routes, with the aim of getting around 5 pikes and a total walking/hiking distance of 10-15 Kms. Camping at a local campsite is included. Please provide your own camping equipment. There are many alternatives to camping around, and everyone might feel they would like to experience the area in their own way. Be it by budget or by comfort. For example, I will be camping, and everyone is free to join me in the camping site I will stay, this is included in the trip, 2 nights of accomodation (Friday evening and Saturday evening). But some trip mates might find it more comfortable staying in a Hotel or BNB.

Day 1
We will start at Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel Great Langdale at 9am in the morning. There are two car parks, Pay and Display manged by National Trust or the car park managed by Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. We will head on the mountains and aim to go around 5-7 peaks and complete a 10-15km walking route planned by Razvan Rizea. Upon completion, we will return to starting point. Everyone can relax at their own accomodation and/or meet up with other members of the group for a social evening. We can organise a dinner at a local pub, or a campfire and barbecue evening at the campsite (subject to weather and social distancing rules). Angle Tarn

Day 1
Walking around Angle Tarn. Angle Tarn is a lake in Cumbria, England, within the Lake District National Park, about a mile north-east of Hartsop. Located at an altitude of 479 m, the lake has an area of 5.9 hectares, measures 385 by 260 m, with a maximum depth of 9 m. The lake is very distinctive in that it resembles a fish hook in shape.
3

Esk Pike

Day 1
Esk Pike is a fell in the English Lake District, one of the great cirque of hills forming the head of Eskdale.
4

Bowfell

Day 1
One of the Pikes we're going to get to in this hike is Bowfell. Bowfell (named Bow Fell on Ordnance Survey maps) is a pyramid-shaped mountain lying at the heart of the English Lake District, in the Southern Fells area. It is the sixth-highest mountain in the Lake District and one of the most popular of the Lake District fells for walkers. It is listed in Alfred Wainwright's 'best half dozen' Lake District fells.
5

Stool End Farm

Day 1
Descending from Bowfell towards Great Langdale through Stool End Farm.
6

Great Langdale

Day 1
Returning to our starting point in Great Langdale. Everyone will follow to the campsite accomodation included, and they can set up their own tents. If you're choosing a diffferent accomodation in the area, you will meet the rest of the group on the following day at the starting point for the second day of hiking.
7

Langdale Pikes

Day 1-3
Second day of hiking begins. Another day of Langdale Pikes, guided hike.
8

Pike of Stickle

Day 3
Hiking day 2/2 Pike of Stickle, also known as Pike o’ Stickle, is a fell in the English Lake District. It reaches a height of 709 metres (2,326 feet) and is situated in the central part of the national park in the valley of Great Langdale. The fell is one of three fells which make up the picturesque Langdale Pikes (the others being Harrison Stickle and Loft Crag), one of the best-known areas in Lakeland. A "stickle" is a hill with a steep prominent rocky top, while a "pike" is a hill with a peaked summit, the name being therefore partly tautological.
9

Harrison Stickle

Day 3
Hiking day 2/2 Harrison Stickle is a fell in the central part of the English Lake District, situated above Great Langdale. The fell is one of the three (although the number is debated) fells which make up the picturesque Langdale Pikes, the others being Pike of Stickle and Loft Crag. Together they make up one of the most picturesque, and probably the best-known, mountain groups in the District. A "stickle" is a hill with a prominent rocky top.
10

High Raise

Day 3
Hiking day 2/2 High Raise is a fell in the Central Fells of the English Lake District, not to be confused with another High Raise situated in the Far Eastern Fells. High Raise is not one of the most spectacular mountains in the district; however, with a height of 762 metres (2,500 ft) it is the highest point in the central fells of Lakeland. High Raise is in fact commonly regarded as the most central mountain in the district and this position gives a fine viewpoint to admire the surrounding mountains and beyond. All of England's 3,000-foot (914 m) mountains (Skiddaw, Helvellyn and the Scafells) can be well seen from the summit while the more distant views include the Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales (37 miles / 60 km) and Morecambe Bay (25 miles / 40 km).
11

Stickle Tarn, Langdale

Day 3
Hiking day 2/2 Stickle Tarn is a small tarn near Harrison Stickle in Lake District, England. The tarn was enlarged by the building of a stone dam in 1838 and is used to supply water for the inhabitants of Langdale. The tarn is situated in a corrie, flanked on the west side by Harrison Stickle, and on the north by the massive imposing bulk of Pavey Ark's south face. The tarn is frequently visited by fellwalkers ascending to Pavey Ark's summit, or en route to High Raise from Great Langdale.
