Inclusive Playa Naranjo Creative Reconnection Adventure

I'm a Creative Writing Coach and expert travel planner who has merged my passions into crafting creative experiences for others. I've taken great care in researching and creating this trip to be a memorable experience that gets you writing. You won't need to worry about planning a place to stay, how to get there, what to do, or what to eat, and you will have plenty of free time to relax or do what you want. On our first day, you will be picked up from SJO airport (or a hotel close to the airport if arranged in advance). The car will pick up each trip mate and drive you to our somewhat remote villa on the edge of the jungle located near Playa Naranjo. You'll find your private queen room and a welcome self-care kit. We will unwind with welcome snacks and drinks before our dinner of local cuisine prepared by a private chef in our villa. The first night is all about relaxing and resetting to get in a creative headspace. On the second day, we will start with breakfast at the local on-site restaurant followed by massages and one-on-one creative writing coaching sessions in our private villa. On our third day, we will start the day with a buffet-style continental breakfast at the house (which will continue for all weekdays) followed by a writing workshop and freewriting. Then we will take a trip to Playa Montezuma for a full afternoon of enjoying the beach and exploring the town. On the fourth day, we will go on an excursion to Tortuga Island by boat with the option to do some snorkeling. We'll spend most of the day on the island. On the fifth day, we will have another writing workshop and a film viewing in the evening. On the sixth day, we will take a beach trip a couple hours drive away to Playa Carillo and spend most of the day. On the seventh day, we will have a visual writing workshop, a guided writing session, free time, and a film viewing followed by a discussion. On the eighth day, we will start the morning with a later brunch for those who wish to sleep in (for those who are early risers there will be coffee and light snacks). After this we will have a free day to relax, write, or do an independent adventure. On the ninth day, we will again start the morning with a later brunch followed by one-on-one creative writing coaching sessions and free time. In the evening, we will take a bioluminescent kayak tour. On the tenth day, we will have a writing workshop, guided writing time, and an afternoon of free time. On the eleventh day, we will start the day with some writing before heading to Playa Blanca for a relaxing afternoon. On the twelfth day, we will start with another creative writing workshop, freewriting time, and an afternoon of free time to do as you wish. On the thirteenth day, we will leave after breakfast for Curú National Wildlife Refuge for hiking, spotting wildlife, and relaxing on a protected beach. On the fourteenth day, we will have our final creative writing workshop for the second week followed by freewriting time. The afternoon will be free to do as you please and we will follow up our dinner at the on-site restaurant with a film viewing and discussion. On the fifteenth day, we will start the morning a bit later with our final brunch at the restaurant followed up with the final one-on-one creative writing coaching sessions and free time. On the sixteenth day, we will have coffee and our buffet-style breakfast before the shuttle to the airport is scheduled to arrive. Check-out and departure will be in the late morning. The shuttle will arrive with plenty of time to get you to the airport for an afternoon or evening flight. If your flight doesn't leave the same day, you have an option to be dropped at another location nearby the airport, but this must be arranged in advance. Alternatively, if you're staying on in Costa Rica, I can assist you in arranging transportation to your next destination. This should give you an idea of what will happen during your getaway. I’ll provide a more detailed itinerary and a suggested packing list shortly after booking. This trip does have the activities/events fully planned with scheduled free time. I also plan trips with more loose itineraries if that's something you're looking for. **Another important note: We will be having all dinners (aside from the Welcome Dinner) and brunches at the local restaurant located on-site where the villa is located. They serve local fish, Costa Rican dishes, Italian dishes, pizzas, other seafood, along with things like hamburgers and Mexican-style fajitas. Other breakfasts and lunches will be provided in our fully equipped kitchen (there is an option to each lunch at local restaurants on our excursion days). I will provide you a link to the restaurant's menu when you book. They do provide vegetarian options, but it may not be ideal for those following a vegan diet. Common allergies can be accommodated. We will be sharing an amazing, air-conditioned, luxury villa in a secluded, beautiful area of the Nicoya Peninsula near Playa Naranjo. The booking has already been confirmed by the property owner. The house has 4 bedrooms that feature queen beds and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The incredible pool takes advantage of the breathtaking jungle and ocean views with its high positioning. There is plenty of space both inside and outside (6000 sq total) to relax and mingle. Each person will have their own room with a plush, comfortable queen bed (also called king in one of their listings, so it may be bigger). The first person to book and pay in full will receive the primary bedroom along with the private ensuite bathroom. The other tripmates will share the additional bathroom.
