Highlight of the week will be my favorite tradition on the island. "Tablas de San Andrés" - Locals will slide down the steep roads of a city with literally a wooden piece! It is a must see! and soo much fun!! Due to the geographical location, the Canary Islands are the perfect place all year round. You can still enjoy the canary sun, while European winter already brings the first cold temperatures. The weather will be perfect for hiking or strolling through the city, as also for a dip in the ocean. I reside in the northern region of the island, which is known for its authenticity and lush greenery. My aim is to introduce you to this exquisite location while prioritizing sustainability. Unlike the heavily tourist-laden south of the island, where attractions often disregard nature and local communities, our approach will be markedly different. We intend to escape the crowds, immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the area, and collaborate with small, local businesses as much as possible!
