Throughout these four days, we will start our exploration by visiting the city's iconic landmarks such as the unique Signal Hill Observatory Platform and the Handicraft Market, where you can find traditional crafts and souvenirs. Following this, we will enjoy the many beautiful islands that Sabah has to offer and go island hopping. Lastly, an adventurous day visiting Mount Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and an informative visit to the Mari Mari Cultural Village where we will immerse ourselves in Sabah's rich cultural heritage.

About me! I've been to these places many times while in Malaysia and I never ceased to be amazed by how beautiful my own country is. I've lived here for half my life and this place will always feel like home. I'm adventurous and I would love to bring you guys on them too! I'm an ambivert, and a good venture with great people brings out the extrovert in me :) I love making new friends and meeting people from different cultures.

Details about the accommodation: We will be residing in Kota Kinabalu, close to most landmarks on the way. We will be renting a car as it will be easier to get to each of the places. Each will have a private room with its own bathroom and facilities. I will pick a hotel with breakfast meals included and a comfortable setting. Kota Kinabalu

Day 1-2
Day 1: Arrival and City Exploration Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, you will be greeted by warm Malaysian hospitality. After checking in at your hotel, start your exploration by visiting the city's iconic landmarks. Begin with the unique Signal Hill Observatory Platform, offering panoramic views of the city and neighboring islands and stop by the Koko Hill Elf for some Instagrammable photos. Then, head to the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia. In the evening, immerse yourself in the local food by visiting the Night Market, where you can find mouthwatering delectable.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

Day 2-3
Day 2: Island Hopping and Snorkeling Adventure On day two, embark on a memorable island hopping and snorkeling adventure. Take a boat trip to the famous Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, which consists of five beautiful islands: Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi, Gaya, and Sulug. Enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, and relax on pristine sandy beaches. Each island offers unique activities and attractions, such as jungle trekking, parasailing, or simply unwinding on the sun-soaked shores.

Kinabalu National Park

Day 3-4
Day 3: Hike at the Mount Kinabalu National Park We will visit Mount Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This park is home to Mount Kinabalu, Southeast Asia's highest peak, which attracts hikers from all around the world. We will explore the park's various waterfalls, and botanical gardens.

Mari Mari Cultural Village

Day 4-5
Day 4: ATV rides to Sosodikon Hill and cultural Experience at Mari Mari Cultural Village Gear up for an adventurous day by riding ATV motorcycles up the Sosodikon Hill and enjoy the scenic views of Kundasang. Dedicate your last day in Kota Kinabalu to immerse in its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Mari Mari Cultural Village, located in the countryside. Here, you will have the chance to learn about the ethnic tribes of Sabah through interactive activities, traditional performances, and demonstrations of their local crafts, food, and customs. Engage in traditional games, try your hand at blowpipe shooting, and sample authentic local cuisine. This experience offers a glimpse into the fascinating cultural diversity of Sabah.
