I am planing to go to India for the first time joinning local tour guide. I never tought about going to India, bur now I really decided and made up my mind. We will have a guide with us during all trip The trip will be 9 nights around Delhi, Jaipur (Rajastan) and Agra (Taj-Mahal) and then we will enjoy the Holy Festival (The festival of colours) with a family. So we will have the night celebrations, making hennas, and during day we will enjoy the city festivities.
I am Sonia, I love traveling to diferent places than where I live (in Portugal). I live on the countryside and I love to go to remote places so I can enjoy the culture. I started traveling alone because I had nobody to join me and I felt in love. But I also like to travel with people I dont know, and to India, i would love to have a group of women in the same situation as me - that want to go there but has nobody to join them. Join me then ;)

Day 1-3
Feb 26: Delhi Arrival 07:30 AM – Land in Delhi after overnight flight. Check-in and rest at the hotel. Late afternoon/evening: Easy-paced heritage walk in Old Delhi with a rickshaw ride + light local snacks. (Gentle introduction after the long journey.) Feb 27: Delhi Exploration Full-day Delhi tour covering highlights: Humayun’s Tomb (morning calm) and lodhi art district India Gate & Rashtrapati Bhavan drive-past Qutub Minar at sunset

Jaipur
Day 3-6
Day 3 – Feb 28: Delhi → Jaipur Optional: Morning tour of Swaminarayan Akshardham or Gurudwara Bangla Sahib morning prayers. Return to hotel, breakfast, and check-out. Drive/train to Jaipur (approx. 5 hrs). Evening at leisure, no tours. Optional evening Rajasthani folk performance. Day 4 – Mar 1: Jaipur Full Day Amber Fort & Panna Meena Stepwell (early morning) City Palace & Jantar Mantar Explore the Pink City bazaars (jewelry, textiles, handicrafts). Evening cultural show / dinner at a heritage haveli. Day 5 – Mar 2: Jaipur Immersion Morning flower market walk & breakfast with locals. Visit to artisan workshops (block printing or blue pottery). Nahargarh Fort with panoramic views.

Day 6-8
Day 6 – Mar 3: Jaipur → Agra After breakfast, drive to Agra. Sunset visit to the Taj Mahal. Evening: Holi party at your house (warm family-style celebration). Day 7 – Mar 4: Holi in Agra 9 AM – 1 PM: Holi celebrations (colors, music, food, laughter). Afternoon rest. Evening: Agra heritage tour (Mehtab Bagh) or some shopping. Day 8 – Mar 5: Agra → Delhi → Departure Optional sunrise tour: Hidden Mughal gardens or Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). Drive back to Delhi. Transfer to airport for 16:20 flight to Lisbon.
