Kathmandu : Hotel übernachten Lukla: Gut ausgestattete Lodges, da hier viele Trekker starten. 😊

The path offers surprising views of the surrounding peaks, including Lobuche East and Pumori. After a short break in Dughla (Thukla), the trail becomes steeper as you approach the Thukla Memorial Pass. This section is a tough but rewarding climb, marked by a series of stone memorials dedicated to climbers who have lost their lives in the Everest region. Take some time to reflect on the Thukla Memorial Pass. After around 5-6 hours of trekking, you will reach Lobuche (4,940 meters), a small territory at the foot of Lobuche Peak. The trail is demanding, following the boundary of the Khumbu Glacier and navigating rocky and icy terrain. After 2-3 hours of trekking from Gorak Shep, you'll arrive at Everest Base Camp. Take time to enjoy your accomplishments and the spectacular surroundings. Since the Everest expedition is a camp-based adventure, you might see temporary camps set up by climbing expeditions during prime seasons. Afterward, return to Gorak Shep to relax in your teahouse for the night, where rest and hydration are crucial after the day's physical effort.
