Day 1-2
The horse trails starts from Khotso and criss-cross over 1,300 hectares of rolling Khotso land. Eland’s Peak sits at 1,800m above sea level, whilst 5km of the beautiful Mzimkulu River flows through the farm as well. The experienced grooms and volunteers saddle up and guide you to panoramic views and embrace just how exhilarating the spirit of freedom can be when you ride out over the ridges and flats of the land with the mountains laid out in front of you.

Day 2-4
We get to experience the magic of Khotso on foot. With panoramic views, crystal waterfalls and the majestic Drakensberg mountains framing the sky - go off the beaten track to witness an abundance of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna and satisfy your craving to explore and roam the land. On all hikes there is always the opportunity to see indigenous antelope, birds, rare plants, baboons and dassies to name just a few members of the incredible biodiversity Khotso enjoys on the farm.

One of the main attractions in the Southern Drakensberg is undoubtedly the breathtaking Sani Pass. With its hair-raising switch-back turns, 1.5km vertical climb and opportunities to see deep into the mountains from on high, it’s a must-see for road lovers and those keen to experience the thrill of the Drakensberg from the comfort of our own seat.Khotso is perfectly situated to experience this incredible route and is only a short drive from the Sani Pass itself. its exclusively the most established industry-leading operator in the area, Sani Pass Day Tours.
