Details about this trip
Join me in my trip in Sumatra. The trip start in Medan for September 24, we will stay the day and the night in Medan and the 25th we will leave to Bukit Lawang for a 3 days 2 night trekking. After we will go to Berastegi to hike volcano Sibayak. Its a short easy hike. we will go to Toba lake to enjoy some nature. And we will finish in Pulau islands to enjoy the water.

About me! I'm a Canadian traveller since 2015. I visited more than 20 country since 2015. I love meeting new people when I travel. It's my fouth time in south east asia. I'm a digital nomade who work in web development.

Details about the accommodation:: In Medan we will stay in a hostel in capsule, Bukit Lawang we will stay at the campment of our guide(see trip itinerary). In berastagi we will stay in an apartments, Some room are private, some are shared. Toba Lake we will stay in front of the lake in a private room each. Medan

Day 1-2
First day we met in Medan, Going around the city, maybe a restaurant to get to know each other. Next morning we leave to Bukit Lawang in the morning for a 3 days 2 night trek in the jungle in the National Park.

Bukit Lawang

Day 2-5
On our first night, we'll settle into a comfortable hostel as we prepare for the exciting days ahead. Your experience includes a 3-day trek with 2 nights at a Jungle Campsite. Enjoy provided meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast), snacks, and water during the trek. We supply quality camping gear, tents, mattresses, and mosquito nets. A porter is at your service. The package covers Park entry, camera fees, and an English-speaking guide. Immerse in nature with the Jungle Campsite stay and experience traditional Tube Rafting. Unveil the best of Sumatra's wilderness with us.

Berastagi

Day 5-7
We will arrive at Berastagi in the afternoon. We have the day off and we will prepare to hike the volcano Sibayak. We will have a guide and transportation to the volcano and to comeback at the apartment after. Its an early hike to see the sunrise.

Lake Toba

Day 7-11
Hanging around Toba Lake, visiting Samosir island, Sipiso-piso Waterfall. We will stay in the Tuk Tuk village. we will have each a room with a double bed. The place have a view on the Toba Lake.

Medan

Day 11
After Toba Lake we will have to go to Medan to take a flight to Pulau Weh. The flight cost around 30-40 Euros. We will have to book this flight together to be on the same flight and same schedule. We have to book a flight late in the afternoon to have enought time to be in Medan before the flight.

We Island

Day 11-16
Finally the dessert, Pulau Weh island! Reputate to be the best island around Sumatra! A gem without to much tourist. It's here the trip finish. From here you can take a flight to go out of the country or anywhere else in the country.
