Hello, everyone. We'll enjoy a nice week exploring one of the best areas of Brazil: Parana state. We'll see the ecological city of Brazil, Curitiba, and explore one of the least known beach destinations of Brazil: Ilha do Mel. Two totally different places to make this trip unique. Let's do it together!

About me: I'm Michael, Brazilian, and passionate for travels. I live in Curitiba and we will start our trip in my home city. I was born in Rio, but I moved to Curitiba in 1999. I'm pretty organized and I've been to 124 countries so far. I love to share travel experiences with new friends. I have a genetic disease called muscular dystrophy. It doesn't stop me to know the world. So, why don't go with me in this small journey?

In Curitiba, we'll stay very closed to downtown and It allows us to reach all the touristic places easier and faster. If we have a car, I drive the whole time, don't worry about that. We can also grab a touristic bus to know the city. Accommodation: We'll stay 4 nights in the greenest Brazilian city. We'll stay in an apartment with full kitchen and single rooms. In Ilha do Mel, which is the coast, we spend 3 nights and we'll sleep in some guest houses, known as pousadas in Portuguese. Curitiba

Day 1-5

Curitiba is one of the most beautiful cities and the coldest capital of Brazil, with some winters below zero (32 F). It has a lot of European immigrants and lots to see. It's clean and not too big. The rest of the country considers this city as one of the most organized, if not the most one. Let's try the Brazilian food and go to a barcecue place, called churrascara. There are a lot of historical places and we'll see them together.

Ilha do Mel

Day 5-8

This island with historical sites and white sandy beaches is the ideal place to rest and have good food. See the nature and enjoy with the locals. Let's try the local fish and see how time goes slowly when you don't have a lot of concerns inside of your mind.

Curitiba

Day 8-9

Coming back only for one night of rest before leaving the city and finishing the trip. It's time to buy some souvenirs and see some places you like the most, if you have time before your flight back home.
