I consider Morocco to be one of the jewels of Africa, and would love to show you the exquisite yet graceful stir of African, Arabic and European heritage. This November 18 - December 3, a group of 6-8 of us will have an entire Riad (traditional Moroccan house) to ourselves, with solid internet connection and a beautiful rooftop with a view of the Atlantic Coast! Precisely in the town of Tamraght, one of the world’s surfing hubs. This is an opportunity for a collaborating, vibrant, and chill group of remote workers/digital nomads/nice folks, who wish to explore budget-reasonable places while enjoy living in a relaxed environment, working with both the sea & mountains in the background, appreciate the comfort of their space, like a bit of spontaneity in planning activities, and enjoy a balance of excursions and a 'quiet night-in' life. If you had any questions, would be delighted to have a chat to see how this trip can be of value to you! Note 1: if your dates don't align 100%, or you'd like to stay the entire month of November, or you'd like to explore different areas of the country, there are flexible options so don't hesitate to reach out! Note 2 about Morocco's recent earthquake: Despite the natural disaster not causing any losses in the Agadir area, I will be exploring options to help out in any way possible once I land in Morocco closer to the trip date. Please don't hesitate to ask if you're interested to as well. Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the victims impacted by the disaster.

About me: A digital nomad of 5 years, I am a mid-30s notoriously travel-obsessed energy-filled soul who calls the planet home. My close friends believe my coincidentally identical initials to ET the Extra-Terrestrial, is no coincidence...I mean we’re all special in our own way! And yes, one could argue that a lack of a particular place to call home, the constant upbeat & positive vibes (given I don't even drink coffee), the sports fanaticism (whatever it is, I’m in!), the banter, the shameless silliness & the loud laughs I give off, could be classified as extraterrestrial. I do demonstrate human characteristics too - but I will say that the weird in me acknowledges and celebrates the weird in you too :D. Having done this for the last 5 years, I've almost seen it all, and so I can assure you, that you're in good hands! Head over to my profile to read more about me!

Accommodation: The 5 bedroom, 3-bathroom villa has a beautiful rooftop terrace, where breakfast will be served every day. Private bedrooms come at an additional cost, please inquire in! With a living area and kitchen, one will also be able to meal prep if they so wish. Beds are changed twice through the trip and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Fibre optic internet should comfortably cover the entire riad and each room has been equipped with desk space; for those who like the appeal of working on the terrace, that is another option. In addition, the location is such that it is a short walk from a number of coworking cafés and restaurants. Don't hesitate to get in touch & schedule a call, so you can determine if this would be of great fit to you!

Trip Itinerary

Agadir Al-Massira International Airport

Day 1
DAY 1: The airport you want to land into is the Agadir International Al Massira Airport (AGA), which has quite a few direct flights on airlines such as Ryanair, TUI, EasyJet, Condor and others, from various cities in Europe, Asia, and ofcourse Morocco. Most likely, and dependent on arrival times, I will be meeting you myself at the airport. The scenic journey home takes around 30 minutes, and you'll have plenty of time to take in the fresh sea breeze.

Day 1-15
You'll be given a tour of the place and checked into your room. Except for activities planned such as the hike, the BBQ, and the surfing lesson, this trip is not meant to hold a strict itinerary and will be flexible based on the group/individual's preferences to relax or plan whatever they'd like. Once everyone arrives and checks in, we'll be planning lunch/dinner to get the group introduced to each other, and the rest of the first weekend is up to the group/individuals to plan.

Day 15
Our surfing partner designed a surf program that combines theory, practical, and personal video review sessions that fast-track your surfing journey. Their program is not only about teaching you to surf, they make it more enjoyable by providing a supportive group atmosphere and flexibility that adapts to your skill level and the daily surfing conditions, with every moment captured by professional photography.

Amazigh Hike and Yoga

Day 15
The picture shows a sneak peek into the views a short hike from our villa, with a group of guides that will navigate the way and help set up the BBQ experience for us. If the group is interested, it might be a good idea to arrange a Yoga session up there as well!

Souk El Had

Day 15
Another day/evening can be spent at the Agadir souk (market). Worth to note that Morocco’s souks are colourful, chaotic and incredibly exotic, with the aroma of spices and baking bread mixed with the pungent smells of centuries-old tanneries, while merchants call out in some half-dozen languages. Visiting them will immerse you in daily Moroccan life that’s changed little over the centuries. Find here everything souvenirs-related from rugs, to pottery, leather, and Morocco's liquid gold, the infamous Argan oil.

Day 15
I have partner vendors everywhere in Morocco, so any other activities can be planned with a little bit of notice, including morning yoga sessions on the rooftop, skateboarding (lessons/just watching pros), paragliding, hammam (spa) experience, cooking classes, a visit to the cute beach town of Imsouane or the colorful Medina in Essaouira, or a Sahara Desert camp safari!
