Bastille Weekend in Paris, France 🇫🇷

If you only have one chance in your lifetime to choose to go to Paris, make it on Bastille Day, the national holiday of France. My name is Jai, and it's an honor and privilege to be on this platform. I am now living my dream living overseas-short spurt in the Czech Republic and England, a year in Serbia, and now in Tbilisi, Georgia. I will be making trips around the world, stay tuned for themed trips, such as movies, music, food, and yoga retreats. Bastille Day commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison by freedom loving Parisians. This event marked a turning point in the French Revolution. We will meet in our hostel or shared apartment in Paris. Our first day, July 13, we will wander around together, explore, and share a meal at our flat as we get to know each other. February 14 is when all the fun begins. People gather and picnic around the grassy area around the Eiffel Tower for picnics and to hear free live music. We can go to have breakfast/brunch picnic before it gets too hot and crowded. The fireworks will begin around the Eiffel Tower around 11pm, and they will light the sky for about half an hour. We will not be fighting crowds because we will be on a cruise watching from the Seine. Other plans include Louvre, Notre Dame, champagne tastings, Arc de Triumf, delicious food and wine.
