Get ready for the ultimate Afrobeat experience at Afro Nation Portugal, one of the world’s biggest Afrobeats festivals held at the stunning Praia da Rocha. From 30 June to 7 July 2026, thousands of music lovers from around the world gather to celebrate African music, culture, and energy on one of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches. Expect incredible performances from global Afrobeats superstars like Tyla, Wizkid, and Burna Boy. This trip is more than just a festival. We’ll start our journey in Lisbon to explore Portuguese culture, history, and food before heading south to Portimão for the unforgettable AfroNation experience.

Details about the accommodation: 4* Hotel in Portimao Lisbon & Portimao Accommodation will be in a 4 Star hotel which are clean and stylish. Room are per sharing basis ( Two people in a room) There will be a lovely breakfast that will be served served daily. The Accommodation will be in a safe area close to the different main attractions and restaurants. Lisbon
Day 1-3
Afternoon: Begin your exploration of Lisbon with a leisurely walking tour of the historic city center. Start in Alfama and wander through its narrow streets, admiring the unique architecture and colorful azulejos (ceramic tiles) that adorn many buildings. Be sure to stop by São Jorge Castle for some fantastic views of the city. And of course take Tram number 28. Evening: Have dinner as a group at a traditional Portuguese restaurant. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and sample some delicious Portuguese cuisine. Don't forget to try local dishes like bacalhau (salted codfish) or a grilled seafood platter. After dinner, we might consider taking a relaxed evening stroll along the Tagus River to enjoy the waterfront views and the city's evening ambiance

Portimão
Day 3-7
Day 2-4 Portimão is known for its historic center, lively marina and stunning beaches. Afronation Festival takes place which is a 3 days festival. Praia da Rocha: is one of the most famous and stunning beaches in the area, it is also where the festival will take place. Enjoy golden sands, clear waters, and impressive rock formations. Praia dos Três Irmãos: Another beautiful beach, known for its unique sea caves and rock formations. It's a bit quieter than Praia da Rocha. Day 5 Boat Cruise. This cave tour departs from Clube Naval de Portimão to cruise along the Algarve coastline, amazing rock formations and caves including the Benagil cave. This boats can truly access the caves and when the ocean tide allows, to get into them and make stunning pictures. Having Lunch as agroup and savoring fresh seafood at the local restaurants. Grilled sardines and seafood rice are popular dishes.

Day 7-8
Day 6 Depart from Portimão and getting an oppourtunity to experience more of Lisbon. **Lunch Together possiblly at one of the restaurants along the waterfront promenade or decide together as a group. Other Things to do in Lisbon: Go to Terreiro do Paço (one of the most iconic symbols of the city and its rebuilding after the great earthquake of 1755) Lisbon is known for its lively atmosphere, and you'll likely find street performers and musicians adding to the charm of the city's streets. Day 7 Time to go our separate ways but hopefully we will meet together soon on another trip :D
