An unforgettable expedition with Uyuni Adventure, your local experts in high-altitude magic. Embark on a breathtaking 12-day adventure through the heart of Bolivia — a land of surreal landscapes, ancient cultures, and raw natural beauty. From the colonial charm of Sucre to the endless white of the Uyuni Salt Flats, each day opens a new chapter in this extraordinary journey curated by Uyuni Adventure, your trusted local partner in South America. Begin in Santa Cruz, the country’s tropical gateway, before flying into the high-altitude city of Sucre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site bursting with whitewashed elegance and rich history. Discover the colorful markets, local artisans, and the vibrant pulse of Bolivian daily life. Continue to Potosí, once the wealthiest city in the world, where you’ll explore the legacy of the silver mines and colonial architecture that shaped an empire. Then descend into the vast silence of Uyuni, where the salt flats stretch beyond the horizon. You’ll chase reflections, visit cactus-covered islands, and stargaze under one of the clearest skies on Earth. From there, the adventure intensifies through the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, a wonderland of flamingo-filled lagoons, steaming geysers, and surreal rock formations. Warm up in natural hot springs and marvel at the vivid reds and greens of high-altitude lakes. In La Paz, ride the famous cable car system across the city’s chaotic beauty before venturing to the Valley of the Souls or visiting the colorful Cholets of El Alto. Then, escape to the serenity of Lake Titicaca, where you’ll hike ancient trails on the mystical Isla del Sol and sleep under a sky full of stars. Finally, return to La Paz for a relaxed evening of reflection, culture, and connection — marking the end of a trip filled with discovery, altitude, and awe.
Ciao! I'm Andrea — Italian by origin, but Andean by heart. I’ve been living in Chile for the past 8 years, working as a certified guide and travel designer across Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and Peru. My love story with Bolivia began the moment I first crossed into the high-altitude plains of the Altiplano. Since then, I’ve returned again and again, exploring every corner: from the surreal salt flats of Uyuni to the colonial streets of Sucre, the volcanic deserts of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, the markets of La Paz, and the sacred waters of Lake Titicaca. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with local drivers, guides, and communities across Bolivia. Together, we form Uyuni Adventure, a small but passionate team that works hands-on to create immersive, responsible, and truly unforgettable experiences for travelers who seek more than just a tour. We’re not a big agency. We’re a local, people-first DMC that knows the terrain, the altitude, the challenges — and most importantly, the magic of Bolivia. Every itinerary we design is made with care, deep knowledge, and the kind of insight that only comes from being on the ground. Whether you're chasing reflections on the Salar, sharing a mate with a local guide, or waking up to flamingos outside your window — we're here to make it real, safe, and meaningful. This is not just travel. It’s the Andes — and we can’t wait to share it with you.
You’ll stay in locally-owned hotels, eco-lodges, and hostels with private bathrooms and daily breakfast included. Rooms are usually twin or triple, shared with fellow travelers — but private rooms are available on request. We choose small, authentic places that support local communities and offer a more immersive experience. Just let us know your preference!
