Trip Itinerary

Chiang Mai
Day 1-5
For Chiang Mai we should plan 7 days. However, we will divide these 7 days a bit and will stay a few days each at the beginning and before departure. 1- The first day we will start very relaxed and you will arrive first. Surely you will be exhausted from the journey. Accordingly, we can just go out for a quiet meal and spend the evening comfortably. The next days will probably be very eventful! 2- We can spend the second day strolling around the city. Let's first arrive, get to know each other and get a feel for the place we are in. There is so much to see and discover while walking through the streets, alleys, parks and along the waterfront of the old city wall. There are little temples sticking out of the ground everywhere and besides the endless food stalls, there is a lot of street art and other things to discover. I want to show you the traditional shopping street, bustling market halls and China Town, which is super impressive and very different from Bangkok. Chiang Mai just has its own relaxed vibe, you could walk for hours through the beautiful city and it would never get boring. 3- On the third day we will head out for our first trip and spend our day climbing a waterfall. The Sticky waterfall is supposed to be beautiful and so is the surrounding nature. (If you have water shoes, feel free to bring them! It's not a must though). Probably we will be pretty exhausted afterwards and can let the evening end quietly with a meal together, depending on our mood. Depending on when we will be back, there are some places in Chiang Mai to enjoy the sunset, for example with a coconut and live music at the river. 4- On the fourth day, we can take a scooter about 20 min away from the city ring road, to the famous temple "Doi Suthep". Just the ride there is beautiful and you have an incredible view over the city. The ancient temple complex is very impressive. You will be amazed, believe me! On the way back, we pass one of the coolest vintage markets, which I have visited so far. For cheap prices, there are some real treasures to be found here. Afterwards, we could eat at a typical night market and just enjoy the special market atmosphere on site. There is always so much going on and there are endless goodies to try. People in Chiang Mai love jazz music and so you will find many artsy cafes as well as some jazz bars. If we feel like it, we can also end the evening there before heading to Pai the next day. 5- After breakfast we leave for the bus station. From there our minivan will take us to Pai. To get to the valley in the mountains, which is about 3.5 hours away, you have to take a pretty exciting ride. It will be fun, I promise!

Pai
Day 5-11
Arrived on site, we move into our accommodation and take care of picking up the scooters. Everything is close to each other, so all this should not take much time. From now on it is easier to decide everything intuitively. I have many ideas for Pai, which we could implement. But since it's such an enchanted place where you don't plan much firmly and let everything come to you, I wouldn't like to presuppose a schedule. Let's just decide together what we feel like doing every day and then design our days accordingly. Here you go with the flow, because that's how the best things emerge here! There are many cute little bars and cafes, hidden in back entrances between ornate little houses, in the greenery or just live music on the streets. People love to get together outside and just walking around you can see smiling hearts having a good time everywhere. We can try our way through the famous street with all the cute little streetfoot stalls (vegan and vegetarian dishes without end), watch the sunset and rise from wonderful viewpoints and rocks, explore waterfalls, float along the river on big air cushion rings for several hours while working on our Tan and so much more. If you want to do yoga, I can recommend a great little studio there! Also, I would love to introduce you to Breathwork in one day. I don't know if you have heard of it, but the discovery of this meditative breathing technique was of great importance to me, especially in Pai. It would be a pleasure for me to bring you a little bit closer to this for me special tool of connection to oneself. If you are interested, I would be happy to tell you more about it. Pai is a place where you need several days to really get down, but at the same time want to enjoy adventure and action. Many young people come and stay here because they are just so enchanted. Surrounded by all the nature and good vibes in the air, you will definitely take it to your heart as well!!!

Chiang Mai
Day 11-14
11- On the eleventh day, after breakfast, we will leave by van to Chiang Mai, where we will move into our accommodation for the last days. We could end the evening with dinner together, whether in one of the many beautiful markets, in a restaurant, at home cooking ourselves or in a snack bar - we have many options. 12- The twelfth day is our last full day in Chiang Mai. Let's do everything we didn't get done at the beginning or still want to do. I would love to show you the university grounds in the evening. There is a big lake there where many people gather in the evening to enjoy the sunset. The atmosphere is so special and if you feel like it, we can have a picnic together while the sky turns the most beautiful colors.

Mueang Chiang Rai
Day 14
13- On the thirteenth day a last trip is planned and we will go to the famous temple "Wat Rong Khun". Surely you have already seen pictures of the fascinating temple somewhere on the Internet. Wat Rong Khun is probably one of the most famous in all of Thailand and is located in the city of Chiang Rai. The way there leads us through beautiful nature. Many people come to the north especially on scooters or motorcycles for this particular route because there is so much to see. We have a driver who picks us up and brings us back in the evening.

Bangkok
Day 14-15
14- For the return trip to Bangkok on the last day of our trip, I thought of something special. There is the possibility to drive with a sleeper train through the country and drive between mountains, over bridges, through the jungle and forests, which you do not get to see otherwise. The beds are comfortable and in general the ride is supposed to be very pleasant and exciting. Many acquaintances have recommended me more than once to take the train and I would love to share the experience with you. We will arrive in Bangkok early in the morning on December 02 and there we will part ways. If you plan to travel further through Thailand after that, I'd be happy to help you with recommendations and tips! Just let me know <3
