Welcome to Sri Lanka! Our journey begins in Negombo, a vibrant coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere and traditional fishing port. Upon arrival, we'll take some time to settle in and soak up our first impressions of the island. Day 2: Colombo Discovery Tour We'll take a private day trip to Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. We'll explore the fascinating blend of colonial heritage and modern city life. From the impressive Lotus Tower, we'll enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city and the Indian Ocean.

Sigiriya
Day 3-5
The Cultural Heart of Sri Lanka Welcome to the Cultural Triangle! Sigiriya is home to some of the country's most impressive historical sites and is surrounded by lush greenery and rural authenticity. Day 2: Tuk-Tuk Adventure to UNESCO World Heritage Sites Sunrise hike to Pidurangala Rock (alternative view of Sigiriya). Afterwards, we'll travel by tuk-tuk to the golden Dambulla Cave Temples with their centuries-old Buddha statues and vibrant murals.

Kandy
Day 5-8
The Royal City in the Mountains Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kings, enchants visitors with its sacred Temple of the Tooth, the picturesque Kandy Lake, and the lush mountain scenery surrounding it. Day 2: Elephant Care Experience An unforgettable day awaits us at the Elephant Care Relief Center! Here, we have the unique opportunity to interact with elephants ethically and respectfully—we help with bathing and feeding them and learn all about these majestic animals and their care. Day 3: Ambuluwawa Tuk-Tuk Tour We travel by tuk-tuk to the Ambuluwawa Tower, a unique multi-religious temple perched atop a mountain peak. The spiraling spire offers spectacular 360-degree views of the Kandy mountain landscape.

Ella
Day 8-11
Mountain Panorama and Tea Plantations Ella is a small mountain village that invites you to linger. With its relaxed backpacker atmosphere, spectacular views, and endless tea plantations, it's a highlight of any Sri Lanka trip. The journey there on the famous train from Kandy to Ella is considered one of the most beautiful train rides in the world! Day 2: The Highlights of Ella We explore Ella Rock with its fantastic panoramic views, the famous Nine Arches Bridge – an architectural masterpiece in the middle of the jungle – Little Adam's Peak for a relatively easy climb with great views, and the impressive Ravana Falls. Day 3: Action and Tea Pure adrenaline awaits as we ride ATVs with Flying Ravana through the mountain landscape! Afterward, we immerse ourselves in the world of Ceylon tea: On a tea plantation tour, we learn about the entire process from leaf to cup and taste different varieties.

Mirissa
Day 11-14
Tropical Beach Paradise Welcome to the South Coast! Mirissa is famous for its palm-fringed sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and as one of the best places in the world for whale watching (season: November-April). On the way: Safari Adventure On our way to Mirissa, we'll experience the wild side of Sri Lanka on a safari in Yala or Udawalawe National Park. With a bit of luck, we'll see leopards, elephants, crocodiles, bears, and numerous bird species in their natural habitat. Day 2: Galle and Marine Adventure We'll visit the historic Galle Fort—a UNESCO World Heritage Site with colonial Dutch architecture. During a sea turtle encounter, we'll learn about conservation projects, and on a boat safari through the mangroves, we'll discover the diverse coastal wildlife. Day 3: Sunset Yacht Party An unforgettable evening on the Indian Ocean! At a sunset yacht party with a live DJ, drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere, we'll enjoy the sunset from the water.

Colombo
Day 14-15
Our final stop takes us back to Colombo. Time for last-minute souvenirs, a look back at the unforgettable experiences, and perhaps a final visit to one of the modern shopping centers or traditional markets.
