About me
Hi, I'm Kimmy! I grew up in South Africa and a few years ago I started my adventures around the world. I'm a nomad who has lived in 5 countries and 3 continents (Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic and Germany). Travel is like second-nature to me. I studied tourism management and I now I'm a travel writer with a passion to discover new places!
My favourite job was working as an outdoor guide in a nature reserve. I also like to volunteer and lead hikes in the mountains. I nearly became a qualified mountain leader in South Africa but Europe was calling me.
I am studying a Master's degree in Heritage (UNESCO) and learning how to speak Czech (I'm still a beginner!).
Sleeping under the stars, making campfires and walking in the forest bring me joy.
To make awesome memories and share my adventures with amazing people. I did some solo-trips and it never felt as special as going with someone else, even someone I just met.
