Die Reisen sind individuell und einfach: Eimerduschen, einfache Unterkünfte und ländliche Umgebungen gehören dazu. Roller- oder Motorradmiete vor Ort ist Voraussetzung. Krankenversicherung und Impfschutz sind Pflicht – ich berate gerne. Für eine entspannte Zeit: Ich bin kein stereotyper Backpacker und respektiere Gastgeber und Kultur. Westliche Maßstäbe sind nicht überall Standard, missionarisches Verhalten ist unerwünscht. Wichtig sind Anpassungsfähigkeit und Offenheit für lokale Gegebenheiten und Denkweisen, ohne diese übernehmen zu müssen. The trips are simple and independently organized: bucket showers, basic accommodations, and rural surroundings are part of the experience. Participants should be willing to rent a scooter or small motorcycle. Travel health insurance and appropriate vaccinations are required – I’m happy to provide guidance. For a relaxed experience, respect for local hosts and cultures is essential. Western values are not the universal standard, and “improving” local ways of life is not the goal. I appreciate adaptability and openness to local customs and mindsets, even without adopting them.
