🎒📚 After leaving the UK in 2016 I spent 7 years in Dubai organising volunteering trips for international schools across the Gulf region. Our students would assist in rural areas working on environmental, health & education projects. 🇮🇩 I moved to Bali when I started working remotely servicing UHNW clients with luxury travel. ✈️ I moved back to Dubai and spent another 3 years there co-founding a small travel agency which I then sold. 💍 2025 was a wild year for me.. I found faith, got a boyfriend, got engaged and then got married all before the end of the year! 🫶🏽 I moved to Doha where I set up group trips on Join My Trip and I am an independent travel agent!
📍I am currently at home in Doha I already have settled my 2026 trips planned: ➡️ Madeira, Portugal ➡️ The Azores, Portugal ➡️ North Macedonia ➡️ Uganda ➡️ Rwanda ➡️ Kyrgyzstan ➡️ Tajikistan & The Pamir highway ➡️ Turkmenistan Head across to my ‘upcoming trips’ to check out these EPIC adventures 👌🏽 ⚠️ If none of current trips take your fancy, please keep your eyes peeled for more in 2027.
I have a few favourite countries: (Stay with me, gosh I know it's annoying when people can't pick one BUT they come with their own unique reasons!) 🇿🇦 South Africa, if a little safer, would be the PERFECT ALL ROUND destination - Hiking, Views, Adventure, Safari, Food, Wineries, Beaches, Seasons 🇹🇼 Taiwan felt the most authentic & less touristy country in Asia.. with incredible national parks to hike through, beaches to surf and tech advanced cities to explore! 🇲🇲 I got to Myanmar in 2018 in the short time tourists were able to visit safely. The people stuck out - they were next level hospitable! Everything I ate blew my mind, places I visited were lacking tourists and truly magical - from architecture to history. There are endless rolling hills, lakes and villages to explore and the moment it's safe to return.. I will be returning! 🇱🇰 It's very rare I revisit a place.. there's always the worry that I will regret not choosing a new place! But after my 5th time visiting Sri Lanka, I can safely say the coastline, the tea plantations and the temples all make this country a dreamy year round destination thats cheap, safe and full of happiness!
From the moment I started travelling I realised I could suddenly see the world in a very different way. I understand what made my home country and other countries tick - the darker sides, the brighter sides. Especially as someone who travelled mostly as a solo female.. I realised a lot of my initial fears, opinions and geopolitics were misinformed and it rewired my brain. As a result I have tested my physical and mental strength logistically during the actual travel itself (EG figuring out how to get to A to B or through experiences that perhaps weren't that comfortable) but also due to the incredible opportunities and activities across the countries I have visited. The memories I have now are worth far more than any currency and I have been able to learn how to leave the best impact possible for the local communities when on the road.
