Hi everyone. I'm Mike - 33M - NYC native, currently working in Tech Sales (Life-Sciences & BioTech focus). I'm looking for like-minded global professionals who want to make friends, travel the world and create some amazing memories. Open to co-working and general travel, and am usually down for most anything. While I am single, I'm focused on making genuine (platonic) travel friends. HOBBIES: I like to ski, snowboard and scuba dive, and am starting to get more into Yoga. Leading a healthy lifestyle is becoming increasingly important to me. I was born and raised in NYC, went to college in DC (GWU), then lived for 2 years in San Jose, California. I spent a year abroad in Madrid, Spain during college, and 2 summers lounging around the coasts of Malaga on a foreign exchange program.
I work for a Life-Sciences-focused technology company that has installed a "Permanent Work from Anywhere" policy. This allows me to be flexible! I recently took a trip to Grand Cayman (Scuba Diving), and met an amazing group of travel buddies (9 people, ages 30-51) who were sharing a Villa and having a blast. I shared two nights with them at the Villa and left feeling inspired. Looking to build my own version of the same, and to find a similar group of diverse platonic travel friends!
CUISINES: Sushi, Thai, new American MUSIC: Range from classic / alternative rock, to 90's hip hop, 2000's top hits, some EDM, singer-songwriter, and general top hits. ACTIVITIES: Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving, yoga, mountains and beaches, boats, exploring new cities. ADDITIONAL ABOUT ME: Dual US-UK Citizen. Conversational fluency in Spanish, native fluency in English. I love being down near the water and being up in the mountains. I drink socially, enjoy recreational 420, and am occasionally down to explore more adventurous influences, given the right environment and travel buddies.
With COVID lightening up and my most recent relationship ending (July, 2021), I find myself in a perfect place to pick up and travel the world. Unmarried, no kids, nothing besides work to hold me back :D
