About me

Hey there! My name is Catherine, I'm French Canadian and have been living in Spain since 2019. I'm a relationship therapist and entrepreneur. The best way to describe myself if probably to say that I'm full of contrasts. I tend to over plan, but also go with the flow, I like things to move forward, yet I'm also laid back. I'm an (mostly) and introvert ... with an extrovert frosting 😉💁‍♀️. I think that there is something to learn from everyone and every situation. I'm a good listener and a good communicator. And my goal for my next trips would be to start taking more photos so that I have more memories to share.

Professionally speaking, I've been working in digital marketing for 10 years, have been teaching, working for a billionaire on his yacht and country hopping. I've lived in Canada, United States and Australia before finding my spot here, in Spain.

I'm spreading my wings: I split my time between my therapy work and couple counselling, real-estate investments and other online opportunities. I also live in a quite beautiful setting and want to give myself the time to enjoy that!

Mostly to broader my perspective and my knowledge. I think that every new situation bring something to learn about yourself and about the world we live in. I also travel to meet people, try new things and spark interesting conversations.

Catherine is wonderful. It was my first trip with JMT and I was bit apprehensive but it turned out to be one of the best trips I've had. She is amazing, considerate, knowledgeable, and extremely warm. Having moved to Spain recently, she could easily understand and relate to the requirements, expectations and interests of a non-Spanish person while providing an authentic Spanish experience owing to her nature and in-depth knowledge about Spain and Spanish tradition. Apart from that, the wellness sessions she conducted were soothing and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend you to take a trip with Catherine whenever you can. It'll be a lifetime experience!

Catherine's Malaga, Spain urban retreat was just what I needed. A perfect blend of wellness, and spending some touristy time in a beautiful city on the sea. Catherine's wellness workshops helped me gain some clarity on the things I need to focus on to be my happiest self. She also has deep knowledge of Malaga, Spanish culture and food, so she doubled as an amazing tour guide. I couldn't recommend this trip any more! I'm happy that I got to be a part of Catherine's first ever JoinMyTrip! I know she will host many more.

The trip to Malaga was a delightful long weekend getaway, complete with sessions for emotional release. It was a new and positive experience for me. The choice of a flamenco show and a visit to the hammam added a perfect touch to the trip. Catherine generously shared local insights about food, drinks, and the city, allowing for a well-rounded experience. She also ensured there was ample time for individual pursuits or relaxation. I highly recommend it.
