I've been working in the tourism field for the last 9 years which helped me to fulfill my curiosity about other cultures and countries. In my daily work, I get the chance to connect with travelers from all over the world and find people with the same passion and concerns about traveling in a more sustainable way.

Currently working at a 32 years old family-owned, purpose-driven, business that has grown into a life project. We are the only one-stop company in the Azores, having amazing partnerships in the Archipelago and taking care of every single detail, allowing us to create amazing memories with authentic experiences in the pristine Azores nature! But not everything is about the business and sales: when our founder started the company, it was about fulfilling a lifelong dream of keeping life in motion and helping to develop our beautiful archipelago. Therefore, we collaborate regularly with several scientific research projects (mostly related to marine biodiversity and environmental pollution) as well as help local associations to decrease addiction problems, poverty, and illiteracy in some areas. Throughout the year, we also invite schoolchildren to join us as we share our values of conservation and eco-awareness. The kids have fun participating in after-school activities that teach them about their environment and the oceans which sustain our planet.

I guess you've heard about Wanderlust, right? Well, this is strongly embedded in human evolutionary history. Modern humans, lived in nomadic communities for as much as 99 percent of our history, following the seasons, hunting, opportunities, and ritual patterns. The feeling behind wanderlust doesn't necessarily have to do with the glamor of getting on a plane, it's about novelty: seeing new places and new things... And that's why I travel!
