About me

I am Sonia (38 yo) from Indonesia. I have traveled for work before, but after I resigned from the job I was crazy to travel again and again. I’m doing my own business now with my husband. I have planned another 2 weeks vacation with my husband and my daughter (6 yo). I want to take my daughter to let her know about the deepness of Indonesia and the many cultures we have where her Mom worked. As we are living in Jakarta and she just knows to vacation at the mall. We would like to meet new families from all over the world. I would be very happy to share our family journey with new friends as tripmates and you are able to take your kids as well with us. After 7 years of studying and working abroad, I really wanted to know about Indonesia, my homeland. Then I worked in Indonesia for a European company that required me to travel to remote areas of Indonesia.
I’m doing my own business and I'm a housewife. For vacation time with my family, I would use it to venture, whether it is hiking, rafting, diving, caving, climbing, bush walking and others. If there are places I haven’t been, then I would like to be there.
Travel to the remote areas of every country to know the local peoples and different cultures. I love the tribal cultures that we should appreciate every culture they have.
I’m a person who has a real passion for travel and adventures. Wherever I am located, at every opportunity presented. Now I'm addicted to knowing the thousands of indigenous tribes in Indonesia that I just visited, only a few. I want to travel more with my family. In Indonesia and hopefully with JoinMy Trip I would travel all over the world.
