Figo was the best trip leader ever ! With the help of guide Marcio, he showed us around Madeira in a way no one had done before. We were able to discover secret/hidden places where hardly anyone had been before. This trip filled our heads with memories, because he always knew how to adapt the hikes to each person's level, and to good and bad weather. I'd come to hike and see beautiful places, and I can clearly say that this was achieved to 200%. This week gave me new friends with whom we had fun and laughed absolutely all the time, and it also made me fall in love with this island! I'd definitely come back and do this trip again, and I'd also recommend it if you love nature and hiking! 🤙

We had an exciting and thrilling week with Figo. We wanted for nothing at the villa and the hikes were amazing. Although the routes were quite challenging, everyone got their money's worth. Despite different needs, everyone had a great time. It was always decided in the interests of the group how to proceed. Came for the Hiking Week - Left with wonderful memories. We had 5 hikes. Figo let us together with Marcio through unbelievable secret places on Madeira. If you want a completely chill holiday, this maybe is not the right thing for you. After the hikes we had a good atmosphere in the homeoffice, cooking together and had a great time. Figo is very friendly and there was always a good mood. Would recommend 10/10.

Madeira 01.07-08.07.2023 Kiki wasn't with us on our trip as she unfortunately didn't get the time off. Accordingly, my rating refers to Figo and the trip itself, of course. About the accommodation: The accommodation is in a quiet location about 15-20 minutes from the airport. 3 bathrooms and 2 separate WCs. Accommodation is large, spacious and clean. Towels are provided. Everything was there that was needed. Organization & hikes: The trip was very well organized and structured, but without sacrificing flexibility. "Off the beaten track" was kept to its word. We hardly saw any tourists on our hikes. As an Austrian, I have hiking experience, but as we were off the beaten track, we climbed a lot (no experience necessary) - that was a whole new challenge for me. Although I wasn't particularly adept at it, I really enjoyed it! Our guide Marcio said at the beginning that we were a group and that we would adapt to our fitness levels accordingly. We also had different fitness levels in the group. If you want to run up the mountain, you're probably in the wrong place - as is someone who doesn't want to walk 2 meters. It was a good mix of rest and relaxation and physical exertion. The hikes are varied and the scenery is incredibly beautiful. Figo & Marcio (guide) You could tell how much work, effort and passion Figo and Marcio put into the hiking week. Although Figo is constantly dealing with new people and new groups, I never once had the feeling that I was being treated like a tourist. Of course, we benefited from the fact that Figo lives on the island himself. He had tips for everything, sent links and made recommendations. He was open to requests and always went out of his way to please the group (without seeming strained). Figo also acted as photographer for the group throughout the week. As a result, everyone received wonderful souvenir photos of the group, the country and themselves. Thanks again for that! The group consisted of 9 Iphone owners and me (haha). The photos were exchanged via AirDrop, and Figo then sent a link to the Whatsapp group so that I also had the photos and videos in great quality. In my opinion, Figo made an incredible effort and did an absolutely perfect job. He is also a pleasant and likeable person. The group: Good organization + a beautiful country are good prerequisites for a great vacation. However, the people who take part in the trip also play a major role. Everyone contributes to whether the vacation is great or unforgettable. The participants in my group consisted of very open, sociable, caring people. Two joined a day later and were also integrated immediately. Some went to bed earlier, others stayed up longer. The next day, we were always a unit. We motivated each other, laughed a lot and yes...also drank a lot. In fact, "traveling-with-strangers" became "traveling-with-friends". I can really recommend this adventure vacation. I had an unbelievably great time that I will definitely never forget. If Figo plans the Azores trip again, I'll be there too (always those threats at the end :-) ). So Figo: let's go! And of course THANK YOU!

Kiki's girls' trip was unbelievably great! Kiki is super friendly and open-minded, she was always anxious to fulfill the wishes of 4 (!) girls. The organization was very good, but always flexible :-). Kiki is very passionate about EVERYTHING concerning Madeira and is really the very best tour guide!!!! Hopefully we will have the opportunity to do a trip with you again in the future dear Kiki! Thank you for this great vacation! I am very happy to have met you :-).

A wonderful week with the girls! Kiki's organization was excellent. There really is no better way to travel "alone". With Kiki as our trip leader, we had a contact person 24/7 who always tried to find a solution immediately. Kiki responded very flexibly to all our wishes and made the most of the week. You could really tell how much dedication and passion she put into this trip. I was completely satisfied and had nothing to complain about. A thousand thanks for so many unforgettable impressions. Guide João has put together some great multi-faceted tours that will make your hiking heart beat faster. The villa leaves nothing to be desired, very cozy and super clean! I had a unique week's vacation with Kiki & Figo as my hosts. The hosts and the local João had prepared a varied excursion for us every day, so that we got to know the many facets of Madeira in the best possible way. If you're still hesitating whether you should go to Madeira with Kiki and Figo - definitely do it. The two of them create a great atmosphere in the villa and you really feel like you're staying with friends from the very first minute. In addition, there were hiking tours off the beaten track that were perfectly organized to show us the full range of Madeira's beauty. Thank you so much for this unforgettable week :)

It was actually a pretty crazy adventure that I embarked on in Madeira in September....Small spoiler: I didn't regret it! I experienced so much during the week that I can simply say WOW - the landscape was beautiful, the group was cool and open, Figo and Kiki were all-round caring and the house was perfect for cooking, relaxing and spending time together watching werewolves and movies. Yes, a trip like this is probably not for everyone...you should definitely be a bit open, adaptable and spontaneous, but in return you get so much back and go home with lots of great experiences. #seekdiscomfort I can only recommend the trip to everyone...you will see breathtaking landscapes, leave your bubble, meet great people and really switch off from everyday life. Thank you Figo and Kiki for making it all possible, you guys are great!

The trip with Kiki and Figo was mega. It will remain an unforgettable time. I'd been hoping to go on a tour for a while, but my vacation plans never worked out, but now the time had finally come. From the booking to the return journey, everything was very easy and uncomplicated. The group was very harmonious, both during the hiking tours and in the villa with joint games evenings, bar and restaurant visits, "kitchen parties" and much more. Kiki and Figo were very flexible and made unforgettable hikes possible. Whether along the coast or the levada, sporty and demanding or a little more relaxed, it was always varied and very impressive in terms of nature and the views. Sightseeing was not neglected either. In summary: an indescribable, unforgettable, impressive and wonderful vacation. I would do it again at any time.

It was the perfect vacation. In April, I stayed at Figo and Kirstin's villa to hike and chill out. Every day brought a new surprise. The days were indescribable and full of wonderful memories. I can fully recommend a trip with Kiki and Figo and had a great time in Madeira. Kiki takes great care of you and is, as she says in her description, very hard-drinking. Figo organizes everything flexibly and has a solution for every problem. The accommodation also leaves nothing to be desired and is in a great location. It was a great trip all round and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Hay everyone! :) I don't really know where to start, it's just been the week. For all of you who are thinking about visiting Figo and Kiki on Madeira - YES!!! Do it!!! Briefly about the two of them: open, loving, funny and always trying to please everyone! If you are an early riser, just relax and watch the sunrise in the palm garden! Or, like us, do your morning workout at the table tennis table. After breakfast, where of course everyone in the group helps, you can start the day with excitement! Whether it's climbing Madeira's highest mountain or taking a relaxing boat trip, every day brings something new. The most important thing is to be considerate and look out for each other! Did I mention that we laughed a lot and had really great evenings? If not, then now: no matter whether we were barbecuing, someone was showing off their cooking skills or we were in the restaurant, someone always had a good laugh in store. The trip to Kiki and Figo's paradise was simply fantastic. To start with the most important thing(s): Kiki and Figo create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the very first second. Ok, maybe Lotus (@homeoffice_lotus), who greeted me happily every morning, also helps a little here. The villa is nestled in the beautiful landscape of the hills, about 20 minutes away from the capital. The house is so spacious that everyone has room and space for themselves, be it in the fitness room in the morning or after hiking tours with a round of pool or table football together. I remember everyday life in the group as extremely positive and carefree. However, I was particularly impressed by the group dynamic when we were surprised by heavy rain during a hiking tour. Although it was wet, cold and shady, you could only see smiling faces everywhere - and the meal in the restaurant afterwards felt all the better. On the hiking tours, you can't help but be amazed. You won't even find anything like this in the Bergisches Land region near Solingen! If you're still wondering whether you want to go hiking with Kiki and Figo or work from home - just take a look at their Instagram profile (@madeira_mit_freunden) and see for yourself! Yes, it really does look so beautiful there;). It definitely wasn't the last time for me.

I booked a home office trip with Fabian(Figo) in the villa of @Homeoffice_Madeira. In January I was still hesitant, but now I have to say that this was by far the best decision I've made recently. Fabian is always helpful, flexible and knows his way around the place. There hasn't been a problem in all this time that he hasn't had a solution for. Whether it was firewood, an air field hockey table, a few board games or a chocolate fountain. Fabian fulfilled wishes that we made more for fun... During this time, we asked him if he would take a week's "vacation from vacation" with us. So, without further ado, he flew with us to the AZOREN. We had absolutely unforgettable, relaxed and eventful days. We didn't have to read a travel guide or worry about anything and saw every spot. You could tell at all times that Fabian knows the islands and wanted to give us a great vacation. I can only recommend a trip with Fabian (Figo) and Kiki. It's not for nothing that I've now spent almost three months with them and would do it again at any time.....

Figo's Azores tour was awesome!!! I know him from the Madeira home office. After numerous home office tours and Porto Santo, the Azores were now the third trip with Figo. I can recommend Kiki and Figo without reservation and look forward to the next tour!

Great trip, 5 out of 5 thumbs up! Communication with Figo is uncomplicated and direct. Many beautiful hiking tours are "ready" to be discovered. The nice thing is - everything can be done, nothing has to be! There is a relaxed, open atmosphere at the villa and a good balance between community and individuality. Everyone can contribute their own ideas or "just do it" (e.g. move the tables aside - turn up the music - party ;). Kikki is just a cool chick who is fun to spend time with; spontaneous haircuts and a surprise welcome with a cold beer after a long hike - awesome! The only drawback: not drinking her under the table.

Had a wonderful time in the great villa. Great people, great location. I would have loved to just stay there. Great hikes or just time for myself to relax (and of course work ;) I think I'll be back. Figo organizes it really well, is nice and open-minded and responds to the personal wishes of his TripMates. Thumbs up!!!

The trip with Fabian was an amazing experience, and I can’t help but agree with all the positive reviews. Madeira is a stunning and diverse island, and Fabian is someone with whom you can have a lot of fun and a wonderful time exploring it. The excursions and explorations are organized flexibly enough to adapt to last-minute changes in plans—whether due to the weather or the interests of fellow travelers. There’s pretty much no scenario for which Fabian doesn’t already have a Plan B up his sleeve—and he handles it all without any drama, always remaining cool, competent, considerate, and with the necessary tact. In any case, I got my money’s worth and can recommend the trip with a clear conscience. I would normally leave it at that, were it not for the (in my view malicious) attempt on the parallel profile to cast both the trip and the trip leader in a negative light by spreading falsehoods. This personally annoys me, and precisely because I had such a great time here, I would like to briefly clarify a few points: (1) A group trip like this is neither an all-inclusive fun trip nor the appropriate platform for shamelessly indulging one’s own selfishness and “I want this, though” tendencies. It is an attempt to experience a beautiful and exciting time together and consequently requires a certain willingness to integrate into the group dynamic. That doesn’t mean you can’t contribute your own plans, wishes, and suggestions (on the contrary!), but trying to throw the group’s plans into disarray with the charm and attitude of a berserker is certainly not a viable approach for this format. Knowing when to hold back a bit is the key—a character trait that, unfortunately, not everyone possesses. (2) Regardless of that, I’ve consistently found Fabian to be an absolutely pleasant and consensus-oriented trip leader who cares about nothing more than making everyone happy in any way he can (and who really goes out of his way to do so). The crux of the matter: If people can’t honestly communicate what they expect, what bothers them, and what their difficulties with the organization are, then it’s hard to help them. (3) The majority of fellow travelers—whether long-term or just for a week—are extremely laid-back and just as eager to have fun together as Fabian. Combined with my life experience, this tells me: If I’m the only one who sees nothing but problems and has to rub people the wrong way everywhere, yet at the same time can’t bring myself to speak up, then… well, maybe I should also take a critical look at my own behavior. Also, neither Fabian nor anyone else is a full-time weather wizard: If you’d like nonstop sunshine, maybe you just shouldn’t book a tour through mountainous landscapes. Because there, it can actually be “cold, wet, and shady” from time to time. It’s just not something you can control, and there are plenty of alternatives. (4) The villa itself is top-notch: in great shape, with a large garden and equipped with all kinds of amenities and features. Do you need a car here? Yes, definitely. Are there cars here? Yes, definitely. Nothing more to discuss. In my time here, I haven’t once seen participants’ plans derailed by mobility issues. Basically, everything is easily accessible. (5) In summary: If you can get along reasonably well in groups, I highly recommend the trip with Fabian.

I'm having the time of my life and never thought it would be this good. Right from the start, we all got on really well and were inspired. After work, Figo showed us the best spots and was always there for us: as a driver, a tipster, a guide, a navigation system, a restaurant tester and organizer. The villa is magical. They even bought a table football table at our request. In the meantime, a pool table, fitness equipment, a trampoline and a popular table tennis table have also been installed. If I could give more than 5 stars, then I would give 10 stars. I can only recommend a visit to everyone. Don't hesitate, just do it! Once again, thank you very much for this wonderful time!

I am happy to rate this unforgettable coworking trip to Madeira. Fabian did a great job organizing everything and I felt completely at ease here. The villa that we were allowed to live in together for this time is a dream and surrounded by pure nature! Fabian showed us the most beautiful hiking trails in Madeira. The trip was an unforgettable experience! Fabian has a knack for bringing people together who get along. It was my first group trip and a really great experience. The trip was really well organized. Fabian also planned everything in advance and answered every question as quickly as possible. Fabian knows the island inside out and had a good plan ready for any weather and any day. Even the somewhat difficult planning and coordination, as some people had to work in the meantime, was not a problem and everyone was taken into consideration. We had a super relaxed 2 weeks together with lots of different highlights. The island is really very diverse and there is something new to discover every day. When asked what I liked best, I couldn't give a definite answer as everything was beautiful in a different way. I would book a trip with Fabian again without hesitation. Thank you again for the organization, for your relaxed and easy-going manner and for sharing your enthusiasm for the island with us. It certainly won't be the last time I've been there.

This trip was my first group trip, I actually prefer to travel alone and let myself drift rather than having everything timed, but this trip was simply wonderful, perfectly organized from start to finish and not stressful in any way. Fabian and his buddy Carsten looked after us incredibly well, catered to our every wish and had the perfect solution for every situation, no matter how spontaneous. Fabian is simply a talented organizer. The group was so great, I am very grateful for the great people I met and the great things we experienced together. Whether it was the 80s/90s evening in the house, whale watching or having dinner together. I would do it again and again and am already looking forward to our next trips together :-)

I had already been to Madeira a year ago and found the island simply breathtaking. However, the trip via Join my Trip with Fabian (Figo) topped everything once again!!! Although I had some concerns before the start of the trip due to the current situation (Covid 19), Fabian had taken extra time for this and was there to help and advise everyone on the trip. With his reassuring manner, he prepared us perfectly for the trip and the special situation. By the time we arrived at the airport in Funchal, it was clear that Fabian had planned and prepared everything down to the smallest detail. The evening of arrival ended with a round of introductions over a welcome drink and a hot meal. Each day started with a breakfast together, during which the plans for the day were discussed. Here too, Fabian was always on hand with help and advice (correct clothing, amount of provisions, etc.). Once we were all strengthened and prepared for the day, we set off on our hiking tours every day at around 10 am. Once again, you could see how detailed Fabian's planning was, as he had the right trip ready for every weather situation. This continued throughout the week, so that we all had a unique week as a group with spectacular hikes and spontaneous experiences. In the evening, we often met up in one of the many restaurants, but it was also easy to cook an evening together or organize a barbecue. After dinner, we would sit together by the fireplace and round off the evening with a glass of wine or tea. Fabian was well received by all participants with his open and friendly manner and made the most of the vacation for each individual person without losing sight of their wishes. I can therefore recommend a trip with Fabian from my side! Here's to another trip soon - dear Fabian - and hopefully to seeing some of the other participants from this tour group again.

On the very first day, I forgot about everyday life and was relaxed on vacation. The daily hikes / excursions were discussed the evening before. We divided some hikes into "hikers" (very sporty and fast 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️) or "connoisseurs" (normal speed 💃🏼🕺🏼) in consultation with everyone, so that everyone could meet their own needs. We were always together as a group at breakfast and dinner. The food in the suggested restaurants was very tasty (luckily we were doing sport 😅). The villa is spacious, beautifully furnished, with a cozy fireplace and a barbecue area. The garden is lushly planted, very lovingly designed and invites you to linger if you don't want to/can't hike for a day. The organization in advance and during the stay could not have been better; questions (especially in times of Corona) were answered immediately, tips and help were offered. A big thank you for your flexibility, your commitment, great ideas and the selection of participants - it was perfect! 🌺

Cool group and cool hikes on a beautiful island. The villa is beautiful and large with plenty of space to feel comfortable. Trips were discussed daily and depending on the intensity you could decide whether you were up for it or not. There were alternatives with sightseeing and beach visits to take it easy on the legs :-)

Traveling this way was a completely new experience for me. I would do it again anytime! The organizer took each participant's individual needs into account wherever possible (fitness level, dietary requirements, daily routine, etc.). It was a really great week!

The adventure trip by and with Fabian was simply top organized and wonderful from start to finish! Thank you for that! Even before booking, he planned everything in great detail so that everything went smoothly despite the difficult corona conditions (video call with all participants to get to know each other, corona test, accommodation, rental car, hiking routes, activities, etc.). The spacious and beautiful accommodation offered plenty of space for all participants both indoors and outdoors, as well as our favorite pet dog Lotus. During the hikes through the various regions of Madeira, while eating in the best local restaurants or sitting together in front of the fireplace, his open nature and the often too bad jokes put everyone in a good mood, which contributed significantly to the fact that a sense of community quickly developed. Throughout the entire trip, individual wishes and suggestions were taken into account in addition to the planning, ensuring that everyone fell happily into bed at the end of the day. Thank you for making this wonderful trip possible and for making us all fall in love with the island (especially with your insider tips and enthusiasm)! To summarize, I would book a trip with you again and again without hesitation! :)

The title "Vacation with pleasure" is no farce. Fabian takes the needs of his fellow travelers into consideration and responds to them in the best possible way. Even small details are not bypassed or ignored. The different impressions of the island with deep valleys, high cliffs, lush vegetation, black beaches and dark tunnels carved through the mountains of Madeira are literally laid at your feet on this trip. Fabian's knowledge of the island and his organizational skills are spot on and excellent. For people who want to escape package tourism, this is the ideal opportunity to travel with Fabian. A positive group dynamic quickly develops. We go shopping together for breakfast, visit a restaurant in the evening as a group and bring our own provisions for the hiking tours. I would definitely pack suitable footwear and a moderate head for heights in your suitcase. The 7 days feel at least twice as long, because the adventures you experience and the perspectives Madeira offers are brilliant. Don't think twice with Fabian, just travel with him.
