About me

Hi, I’m Stefano. A few years ago, I decided to change my life. I spent six years restoring Villa Venezia, a historic home on the Brenta Riviera, with the dream of creating a place where travellers from around the world could experience the true Italian lifestyle. I believe the best journeys aren’t measured by the number of places you visit, but by the experiences you share and the memories you create. Depending on the season and your interests, we can explore Venice with a licensed local guide, enjoy an aperitivo aboard a sailing boat in the Venetian Lagoon, paddle by kayak along the Brenta River or at sunset in the lagoon, cycle through the Brenta Riviera towards Venice or Padua, discover the UNESCO Prosecco Hills, relax in the Euganean thermal spas, or cook authentic Italian dishes together. Every traveller is different, so I’m happy to create personalized itineraries based on your interests. After more than twenty years as a physiotherapist and counselor, I learned that genuine hospitality begins with making people feel at home. My goal isn’t simply to show you Italy—it’s to help you experience it. I look forward to welcoming you to Villa Venezia.

I worked as a physiotherapist for over 20 years, a profession that taught me a lot about people, listening and human connection. Over time, my interest in the emotional side of people led me to become a counselor, working with individuals, couples and groups. Along the way, I’ve always had a strong passion for travel, beautiful places, food, culture and authentic experiences.
Today I work as a counselor and I’m also dedicating myself to hospitality at Villa Venezia, my historic home on the Brenta River, between Venice and Padua. I spent six years personally restoring it and turning it into a place where I can welcome people from all over the world. I’m now bringing together two things I really love: connecting with people and helping them discover my region in an authentic, personal way.
My favorite things? A beautiful sunset, a long dinner with good food and wine, discovering places I didn’t know existed, being on the water, meaningful conversations and those spontaneous moments that were never part of the plan but become the best memories of a trip.
I travel because I believe the best experiences happen when you slow down, stay curious and share moments with other people. For me, traveling is not about ticking places off a list, but about discovering how people live, tasting local food, hearing their stories and creating memories together. Now I’d love to share that same spirit with travelers who want to experience Italy beyond the usual tourist routes.
