The US Open is one of the four major tennis tournaments and the perfect excuse to explore the Big Apple. On this trip, we'll get one full day of tennis at the Flushing Meadows, as well as a night session in the Arthur Ashe stadium on a separate day, where we'll get to see the best players in the world. Djokovic, Nadal, Alcaraz, Iga, Coco Gauff... hopefully they're all participating in this tournament. The experience of being at the venue almost all day is just something incredible. From watching lower-ranked players just a few meters away from you to watching them practice, witnessing the greatness of the big stadiums, and the hope of running into one of the players, the US Open is something all tennis fans need to do once in a lifetime. I lived in New York a few years ago, so I'd be happy to take you to my favorite places, guide you on the subway like a true New Yorker, and find nice dive bars to unwind after a day of tennis and exploration. The price includes: - Entrance for 1 day at the US Open (ground pass) - Metro card for 1-week unlimited rides - Accommodation (Shared rooms) Optional: - Entrance for one night session at the US Open (140 USD approx.) About me: I'm Alberto. I'm Mexican and I love many things in life, but sports and travel are on top of the list right after my wife, beer, and my dog. Do you have a question? Ask in the Q&A :) See you!

Trip Itinerary
1
Manhattan
Day 1-3
We'll stay in New York City the whole week. There's so much to see and do that there's no need to add another stop. We'll walk around Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx and even take a short trip to Staten Island so you can visit the five boroughs that compose New York City. The first stop will be Manhattan to get a good feeling of the Big Apple, all its buildings and most popular attractions. From Harlem and Central Park to the Financial District, be sure that we'll see most of the island.
2
Flushing
Day 3-5
This is where the US Open takes place, so we'll visit this area for 2 days during our trip. The subway takes us there from anywhere in New York City; it's a very nice line with new trains and nice views. We can also walk around Corona Park, a really nice place with tons of trees and beautiful views.
3
Brooklyn
Day 5-6
We'll cross the Brooklyn bridge and walk around some of its nicest neighborhoods, such as Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. The famous pizza place Grimaldi's is here, in case someone has it as a must on their list. In addition, we'll visit Williamsburgh, a hip neighborhood where we can grab a bite or a drink; as well as Long Island City in Queens, a beautiful place to take pictures of Manhattan's skyline.
4
The Bronx
Day 6-7
The Bronx is home to the New York Yankees and its majestic stadium. If enough people want to watch a game, we could search for tickets once there. If not, it's always interesting to at least do a quick visit and set foot in all 5 boroughs.

We'll use Airbnb for the accomodation. There are some good private options in Brooklyn and Queens. I can't guarantee that it's going to be a single room, it might become too expensive, but I'll try ... Read More
