Day 1-2
Immerse yourself in Tunisia's rich culinary and cultural traditions with a visit to the Medina of Tunis. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a maze of narrow streets and alleys lined with traditional shops, markets, and cafes. We will explore the vibrant food scene, tasting local specialties such as crispy pastry filled with egg and tuna, and harissa, a spicy chili paste. Learn about traditional crafts such as carpet weaving and pottery, and shop for unique souvenirs to take home. Discover the history and culture of Tunisia with visits to historic landmarks, such as the Zitouna Mosque and the Dar Hussein Museum. I will share their insights and stories, giving you a deeper understanding of the city's past and present. Staying in a hostel in the Medina of Tunis is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture and experience the city like a true Tunisian. Hostels in the Medina are often housed in traditional buildings with stunning architecture and design and offer a unique and authentic accommodation experience. For your first night, we can arrange for you to stay in a single room (on demand) in one of the hostels in Medina. The room will be clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. You'll also have the opportunity to socialize with other travelers and meet locals, who can give you insider tips on the best things to see and do in Tunis.

Day 2

Day 2-3
Embark on an unforgettable journey to Beja, Tunisia, where you will explore the fascinating archaeological site of Bulla Regia, known for its well-preserved Roman houses and underground mosaics. After your visit to Bulla Regia, enjoy a delicious lunch at Borj Lella, a local restaurant known for its traditional Tunisian cuisine. Then, head to Bni Mtir, where you will sleep under the stars in a beautiful outdoor setting. For your camping experience, we can arrange for you to stay in a shared bungalow. The bungalow will be equipped with basic amenities such as beds, bedding, and a bathroom. You'll have access to the communal outdoor area where you can relax, socialize with other campers, and enjoy the fresh air and stunning views.
