At 7 a.m, You’ll depart Nairobi for approximately 5–6 hours drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. A highlight of the journey is a stop-over for the glimpse of the huge Rift Valley emptiness just past Limuru, at the top of the escarpments of the valley. Mount Longonot, Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha may be glimpsed to the north, while the plains seem to sweep on forever to the south. Route details and journey times may vary depending on road conditions. You will arrive at the Camp at a good time for your lunch in Narok. Full Day Wildebeest Crossing experience. If you are an adrenaline junkie looking to take in the Masai Mara from above, then the balloon safari is the activity for you. This activity is optional, not included in the cost. The Balloon ride is an exciting opportunity to experience the beauty and vastness of the Mara. Once up, the balloon will float at the whims of the wind for about an hour, and when it comes down, you will be met with a scrumptious champagne breakfast.
