Trip Itinerary

Kraków
Day 1-2
Arrival day - If you arrive early, you can store your bags at the apartments before check-in, pick up your city guide & map and explore some of Krakow’s beautiful streets, sites and nature. I will be in the city from early morning and will be happy to assist in any way needed. Check-in is from 3pm and once everyone arrives and settles in... We’ll be straight into getting our hands white and sticky, putting together some dumplings at the Pierogi Cooking Class! After the meal we can have a walk around the main square – this city is extra magical at night!

Memorial and Museum Auschwitz II-Birkenau
Day 2-3
Day trip - Auschwitz & Birkenau camps Early breakfast at accommodation Today takes us back to the times of World War 2, as we explore the largest Nazi concentration camp on a guided tour. This place is like no other, the experience of walking these grounds shakes you with every step. It is real and raw. As you tour and learn about this place, your life becomes more valuable than ever. This is a must-see for everyone, even those not overly fascinated by the topic of history. Krakow –> Auschwitz takes approx. 1.5hrs each way. Transportation, entry tickets to both camps, guide and packed lunch are all included on tour. When we get back to Krakow, we will head out to a local restaurant for a well-deserved meal and a Polish beer!
3
Wieliczka Salt Mine
Day 3-4
After breakfast we will grab a local train from a nearby station and head to Wieliczka village to visit the salt mine (approx. 25mins). We will have an underground guided tour of the 13th century mine, Wieliczka – one of UNESCO World Heritage sites, discovering the interior of our earth through labyrinthine passageways and witnessing an underground lake, numerous chapels and statues carved out of the rock salt by the miners. Our tour will be followed by an entry into the Graduation Tower, an inhalation sanctuary constructed with blackthorns and flowing water, aimed to soothe, relax and improve our breathing. After all that relaxation, we will head back to the city and have a little time to rest, shop or explore before ending the day with a delicious traditional Polish dinner 😊

Kraków
Day 4
After we check-out, we will leave our bags at the apartments reception and take a stroll to the Jewish Quarter to grab breakfast and coffee/tea at a super cool, vibey café. Afterwards we can explore this great area more (depending on everyone’s departure times) and have our final see-you-later’s at a local bar in a well-preserved 19th century old building! For those staying longer in the city, I can provide other local recommendations, tips and advice for further exploring.
