Day 1-2
We will meet in the afternoon in our accommodation in Shanghai and get to know each other by a nice dinner together. If you arrive earlier, you can plan some extra activities. Take a rest after your long flight, because tomorrow we start exploring!

Day 2-3
We will start our day by visiting the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the observation deck. In the afternoon, we will join a free walking tour (tip based): Discover Shanghai from its humble origins as a fishing village and hear the stories behind how it evolved to become one of the world's most exciting and cosmopolitan places in the 21st century! In 4~4.5 hours, the tour covers all the must-see spots in downtown Shanghai.

Zhujiajiao My Way Water Town Inn
Day 3-4
Day Trip to Zhujiajiao Water Town: Just an hour from Shanghai, Zhujiajiao is a picturesque water town known for its ancient bridges, narrow alleys, and tranquil canals. It’s a great way to experience the traditional side of China away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Day 4-5
We will start our day with a walk along The Bund, the famous waterfront promenade, to enjoy views of the historic buildings and the futuristic skyline across the river. Later we head to Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s premier shopping street, where we can browse shops and soak in the bustling atmosphere. We will make sure to try local specialties like Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings)! If we have enough time we can visit a night market where we can sample a variety of street foods, including skewers, noodles, and sweets. The city also offers a range of international cuisines. We will end our last day of the trip with a drink at a rooftop bar like Bar Rouge or The Peninsula's Sir Elly's Terrace, offering stunning night views of the Bund and Pudong.

The next morning, we will have breakfast together and check out of our accommodation. You can continue your own journey or take your flight back home. Hopefully we will see each other on another trip!
